Spuds have the fittest legs of all football fans. Fact! They've been treading water for the last 40-50 years and now they're furiously back pedalling as if their life depends upon it
I can't help feeling that Spurs are going to boom or bust next year. Either the AVB move will be a spectacular success, or failure. Somehow I can't see it as being just meh. I think Spurs and Arsenal fans are both worried, but about two different things.
According to the spuds, Ledley King was the best defender the world has ever seen. Now he has gone and they haven't replaced him with equal quality, surely they are weaker than they were last season? Modric will either go or be forced to stay against his will (again) which will also diminish them. Overall, it is not possible to conclude anything other than the fact that they are considerably weaker than they were last season. I am not nervous about the coming season one jot
But they'll have nothing to worry about, after all RVP's leaving and we've only bought Pod and Giroud innit.
King was the best player the world has ever seen...but he never played as he was injured, so now we have Jan (who looks class) we have improved. Not sure what all this backpeddling talk is about. unless you don't really understand what it means?
Does that mean they are still going with Gallas for another year? I have to say that I was very pleased when Spurs got him.
Modric stayed against his will last season and had 1 of his better seasons with us so I struggle to see your logic with that line. And with you not being nervous about the coming season - I wonder as to what you expect from Arsenal this season.
I expect us to have a royal ding dong with the chavs to decide who will be top London club, so it naturally follows that I expect us to finish above the spuds as usual. I expect us to be challenging for trophies, the prem title and having a good run in the CL <GOTTABEINITTOWINITSMILEY> Apart from what I expect from the mighty Arsenal, I expect the spuds to be blaming referees and anything/anyone else apart from their players when they lose points. I expect Man Citeh to continue to treat the spuds as a special charity case and work out a way of paying a chunk of Adebarndoors wages for another year. I expect AVB to impersonate someone taking a dump on the touch line most games. I expect to read continued bitter rants against West Ham and their attempt to land the Olympic Stadium. I expect Liverpool to finish above the spuds. I expect Gallas to intimidate AVB and cause major ructions in the spud dressing room. I expect to be opening a fresh 'Laugh at spurs' thread in the next close season with plenty hilarious stuff to fill it with. I hope to win the quadruple having gone the whole season unbeaten in all competitions.
Agree with these, unsure on the rest though. Nobody knows how Spurs are going to do under AVB just as nobody knew how Chelsea would do under him. What I will say is that they are startling similarities between the sacking of Ancelotti and Redknapp. Spurs could struggle, but what is clear is that they are a lot closer to Arsenal and Chelsea now than they ever have been since the turn of the century.
...and the latest uber delusion from the spuds is that they think they are just one player away from challenging for the title. Yep, you read it right - just a single player short of being serious contenders http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/157416-Just-imagine
You do understand the meaning of the word "they" don't you, as it means "collectively" or at least "more than one" in the way you are referencing it. Seeing as only one person mentioned this, I think you have made yourself look silly or just desperate to apear as though there is something to laugh at.
looks like modric aint a happy rat haha http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...to-train-yesterday-because-he-s-not-psycholog
That's why the scum have been quieter than usual lately, they're in a similar predicament as us. Their best player wanting out but not being sold.
