Live Stream doing the rounds on Twitter... http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=163781&part=sports We're 6-1 to win with most bookies... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/club-friendlies/sporting-lisbon-v-charlton Looking forward to seeing what team Powelly puts out tonight
I have only just noticed it is a full 90 minutes against Sporting. When and where was that announced? And what happens with Real Betis? Nothing? I guess there is still time to change again before kick-off. Maybe four 20 minute matches at different age-levels. Or how about taking on Sporting Lisbon at soccer, cricket, rugby and petanqes? That would be fun.
Last that was reported, it was due to be three, 45 (!) minute games in a triangular tournament with some silverware at the end - who knows?
Was aiming to go but stuck the wrong end of Spain tonight. however will see if it is on one of the Spanish Tv networks if it is being streamed
Doubt it a lot Scratchin'. There's a lot of pre season football out here, but now that Betis seem to have gone off in a huff, I doubt the spanish telly will be interested. Where are you out of interest?
Portuguese Sport TV1 for those with access to Portugal stuff. If not the link works fine. Judging by the stand, they should have invited Betis as it looks like no one is there.
Thanks very much HFFP - latest in a line of really decent Tigers on here - still no joy, unfortunately. I love Lisbon.
0-0 after 45. Must admit only picked it up after 24 mins, but we have hardly got out of our own half , without being seriously tested, but you get the feel that SL could take us apart at will.
Absolutely, HFFP - God bless Google. Got it! Er, why is there no-one there for this sporting extravaganza? One Addicks flag though.
Sporting has less than 2 weeks training and still missing some internationals. Some are in the bench and other didn't even came to Spain. Probably lots os changes in the second half. Porbably Sporting 1-0FT
There were som fans for the team when they arrived on monday i think. Don't know why their not on the stands.
Well, despite my sarcasm they did manage to make one last-minute change. Brought forward kick-off time by 30 minutes so I missed the first half hour. 0-0 at half time. No spectators, so no atmosphere. Think the 3-team idea would have been better. Ball on the ground most of the time where we are outskilled by Sporting. But some lovely touches from Kermit. 4-3-3 Wilson in place of Solly. Surprisingly aggressive. Must have learned that at Stevenage. Hamer Wilson - Cort - Morrison - Evina Pritchard - Stephens - Jackson BWP - Kermit - Haynes Haynes clean through with a clever touch then messed it up with his next touch. Stephens gave the ball away under no pressure. He worries me in that position. Get well soon, Danny Hollands!
