....to like the new home kit, but the more I see it the less I like it!!It looks as though it was designed in a hurry, with the white shoulder part added purely to accommodate the crest and sponsor. I've been looking at the new PL kits, and quite frankly ours is definitely one of the least attractive, and it pains me to say so. Has it grown on any of you yet? I hope so, because I want to like it!!
(Apologies if this has been done already)

Its horrible, theres one hoops thats part of the generic template (as seen on the other 2 kits) so we had to make all the rest the same width or it would look stupid.

Lotto put no effort into it. I hope we move to someone else apart from Umbro. At least Saints have a worse kit.

    Who cares.

The owners have already stated that it'll be all change next season with wider hoops and Dennis the Menace away. And also a new manufacturer as Lotto deal comes to a close.

I prefer it to last seasons, and will be buying it for my nephew and i'll probably get the 3rd for 5 a side.

Lotto aren't the best kits wise. When does the contact with them run out?

Yes, I imagine their fans are not very happy about losing the traditional stripes. Out of convenience (lived 20 mins away), I used to watch quite a few Saints games as a boy at the Dell.

I see our hoops have not been this narrow since 1976-77 season. Not much better are the wider (fake) hoops of Reading (something about the Waitrose on the front).

I think Reading fans would prefer more hoops (even though they don't deserve to wear them) and us less. Give TF time he will get us the kit we all want. <ok>

I like the new home kit as I think it will win a few over. Of course the 2nd kit is another thing I prefer the 3rd from last season to the new blue one although this is historically correct. I am pretty sure we would go for thicker strips , then dennis version as second and Celtic as a third ... Hoops after all are hoops

Agreed on all points. Wider hoops, Dennis the Menace and then the Celtic/Yeovil Town green and white.

    I don't know, I really like this one: http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1336939,00.html

It's still the one I wear to matches and footy training.

Although granted the kits produced since then have gone steadily downhill. I hated last years kit originally though and it grew on me (although the patch was atrocious - my Dad got one without the sponsor and it looks great) so I'm hoping this one grows on me too. I must admit I'm a big fan of the sponsor colour being red again on this seasons kit, I've always felt that's the best colour but I guess that came from growing up with the Compaq kit!
