Yeah, i'll bet they are thinking that was'nt so bad after all losing to Hearts. Compared to Rangers woes, Hibs probably feel like they've won the World Club Championship.
Celtic confirmed that it established one EBT scheme in April 2005, which was for Juninho, but the club did not declare the trust payment to the SFA or the SPL. The payments made to the trust were declared in Celtic's annual report for 2004/2005, but in 2008 the club became aware of a potential tax liability which was paid after agreement with HMRC.
Where? Have a look at the link I provided, it's all clearly laid out and even a dullard like you should be able to understand that HMRC were due £94m.
What document is this from? You posted the PDF and said the document clearly shows. I seriously couldn't find it.
* So HMRC got their 75% vote, but £72m was not settled, as I pointed out. Remember the Big Tax Case has yet to be resolved. * Like I said it wasn’t the EBTs that put us into administration that triggered the CVA that eventually put us into liquidation, it was Craig Whyte’s failure to pay his taxes properly. * Obviously HMRC were confident that Rangers owed them a hell of a lot more than just £21m but that hasn’t been resolved.
When Rangers offered their creditors a CVA that included the previously disputed monies owed to HMRC You see, if the tax man says you owe him money then you owe him money. If you dispute it then you still owe him the money until a judge rules otherwise. He is, after all, representing Her Majesty's Government. It's not like some dodgy plumber you got in to fix a bropken pipe then disputed the bill (as another loony on here tried to make out a few weeks ago).
Thank **** we're the anti-establishment team now.
Yes he's pretty thick, maybe you could explain it to him...oh wait, you don't think Minty was to blame either.
Sporting Gijon boss Javier Clemente brands Nacho Novo a 'coward' for walking out on La Liga strugglers Feb 19 2012 by Mark Walker, Sunday Mail SPORTING Gijon boss Javier Clemente last branded Nacho Novo a “coward” and claimed he left the La Liga side because he was “scared s***less”. The former Rangers hero moved to Polish side Legia Warsaw last week after having his Sporting contract torn up. And Clemente claimed he had to bin the 32-year-old striker after accusing Novo of showing no commitment to the struggling side in their time of need. The legendary former Spain and Athletic Bilbao boss said: “Novo has left us because he was scared s***less. He has been a coward and walked away. “His agent said Nacho might not get a new contract at 33 if we were relegated but I told him he would get a nice new deal in La Liga when we stay up. “I didn’t want him at the club being mournful and infesting us with his sadness so I ordered him to leave now. “Then I went into the dressing room and told the rest of the players that if we had any other cowards they could also leave.”
