Hello This is my squad prediction, Which I have been posting for the last few games and has become one of my main feature. Please predict the starting line up and the subs below.
its got to be 4-5-1 (which may be 4-3-3 for about the last 20 mins!) -----------------Ashdown---------------- De Laet----Halford------Rocha----Hermann Webber---Lawro---Hogg---Ward---Nugget ----------------Ginga Ninja---------------- With webber and the nugget advancing whenever. However, after reading some message board where someone suggested moko in midfield, I have a sick feeling that may happen. Hopefully subs: Flahavan, Moko, Dickinson, Ciftci, King, Cotterill On paper thats a darn good side (with some SUBTLE exceptions lol) but knowing Pompey Im gonna gun for Cardiff to definitely score first, then have a sneaky suspicion that it may end 2-0 But depends on the ref as well, due to the exceptional performances in recent times! (And when I say exceptional I mean total sh*te) So who knows, two more pens and a red card for kitson being exceptionally ginger?!?!
Mine is Ashdown De Laet Halford Rocha Hreidarsson Webster Lawrence Hogg Mokoena Nugent Kitson Subs Flahavan Dickinson Ciftci Kanu Cotterill Ward
dont think so....king as in king kanu?? and speaking of mistakes it aint webster, its webber. But back on topic I am very worried you are right and SC picks mokoena over ward and play UBER defensive, which will never work. As there is nothing left to play for (no matter what anyone says), I say just go out and play good attacking football. They say they now just want to climb the table, why not entertain the fans at the same time, its not like theres anything substantial to lose. Take a chance be my motto! PUP
Hoadie you obviously know nothing about Pompey, first webster?? then questioning who king was, and then saying putting Mokoena back in the team will be great. Mokoena has been pretty poor this season especially when put into defensive midfield, hence why he has been dropped in recent games by his club and country. Also to sit back and defend against a team like Cardiff is pretty suicidal. I would say stick to worrying about your own teams first 11 rather than pretending to know about others.
We are certainly going to miss Mullins against Cardiff, Hoadie. Mokoena does tend to make mistakes when he plays, which is probably why he has been axed by the South African manager. I'd rather see us play Hogg & Ward as the midfield grafters, and perhaps Kanu brought into midfield for a bit of class.
I have to say, I can't see anything, but a sad Meowth avatar this evening. Avatars, on forums, are a reletavely new thing. For generations of Pompey girls, however, it's been a Saturday night thing for years.
