Your willingness to even use such a phrase speaks volume about you. And neither of them play for Liverpool, which is what was being talked about.
Money? What money? You couldn't afford Sigurdsson and are struggling to sell anyone. "Used to being up there every year" hasn't helped you in the last 3 seasons so why would it help now? 1) King is no longer under contract with us, let alone one of our "good players". 2) Ledley was never convicted of anything, he's as innocent as Terry.
Basher Ledley is now an ambassador for Thspurs! What a role model! maybe they should hire the looters as salesmen in the club shop! When's the DVD of the riots out?
Tottenham do look a stronger team depth wise, but I feel quality wise they're standing pretty still. If Modric goes and they get Mountinho that would be very interesting though. I prefer Mountinho by a long shot to Modric and it could be a very dangerous side. What will decide though is of AVB can pick himself up back to Porto levels. I think it was career suicide returning to the EPL straight away but we'll see. Can't rule Liverpool out definitely. If Rodgers can sustain a couple of seasons they could be well on the road to recovery. Arsenal, hmm, I don't know. It'll be interesting to see Podolski and Giroud.
typical quote from you, proves you are a first class twat.if ledley's knee's were alright,Terry would'nt have ever played for England
Seriously though if Spurs pull off these signings I actually think they could challenge for 4th. They might sell their best players but unlike Arsenal at least they replace them win genuine quality. I hope we continue our good form because I don't want to be dragged into another battle for 4th.
My thoughts exactly. I can see City, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool in the hunt this season.Arsenal can't be discounted, but they are sure going about things strangely. Reckon this could be the most topsy turvy season for some time, with Chelsea well in the hunt.
If Arsenal sell Walcott like they seem to be looking to, then Tottenham probably have 4th, with Liverpool not far off. Complete suicide from Arsenal this year.
If we pull off the signings we're supposed to we'll have no excuses for not challenging for top 4. I think we'll still take a little while to fully settle but by the end of the season I expect us to be showing some quality and 70 points is the kind of total we should be looking for.
It's hard to remember that when you're not in the CL. I still feel bad about that. UEFA really should have at the least allowed you in at qualifying imo.
