I love the way the young lads are so composed on the ball and play out from the back. It's no mean feat to keep a clean sheet with a dimwit like Forecast in goal, even against an average side. JWP is a beast too.

I think JWP will play a bigger role than the other THIS season which I can't wait for. Having said that though the other three certainly look to have bright futures. From what I hear chambers is a very gifted player when his confidence is high and he is a game changer when played inthat CAM role, like Lallana. Shaw we all have hopes for and Stephens I think is the one of the surprise packages that will sneak into the team and do quietly well.

It's really good to see them excelling, albeit in preseason. I reckon we'll see Chambers, Stephens, JWP and Shaw forming part of our League Cup side. Reckon some of them will get a few run-outs when we get enough points for survival, too.

I'm in no danger of forgetting your view point on AM sharpeshooter, so I guess we'll have stick around & see who's laughing in about a seasons time.
Hope in the mean time you can pretend to be a supporter of some of the promising youngsters coming through.......even the ones you think are crap. <grr>

Stephens makes up for his inexperience with his composure on the ball. Despite getting skinned by Gervinho, he impressed me against Arsenal. Tidy player.

Hope they all get their chance as I'd love to see it.

Also, can we resolve not to call them younguns or young guns? It sounds disconcertingly like young gunners and we certainly don't want that.
