Im well excited about getting Clyne!! I can see him being a "fans favorite" type of player. I always sign him on FM12 and FIFA12 cant wait to see him in the Red and...RED kit!
To sum it up for me, I believe we have strengthened our squad and given more competition to the right side of our defence. Whether he starts as first choice or not does not really concern me as I am optimistically expecting him to be pushing for a regular slot very quickly. If and when Nigel thinks he is ready and better than the rest I feel we will come to love him as our fully fledged flying wing back.

Could it just be that the big boys need to learn that players want to sign for clubs that will play them when they are 21 (or 19 dependent upon which article you read). This lad is ambitious. He will want to win medals and play for England, so why not be in at the start of the great adventure? With so many young players coming through; the signing of Jay Rodriguez, another ambitious young player; the evidence of Morgan Schneiderlin and Adam Lallana that good enough is old enough for this club it's a great time for a young starlet to sign for Saints. Of course, we'll never win anything with kids, will we Mr Hansen?
Great signing, really quite excited about that one. I do feel that Swindon Saint has every right to say he isn't excited by a signing, without being told he was wrong, but then he went abusive which is so un-necessary.
