Bit of a strange one off news now. Source is about as reliable as the Titanic granted. http://gossip.ladyarse.com/2012/07/arsenal-rumoured-to-have-bid-for-cardiff-striker/?
Do you recall last year when they (The Malasians)were going to take the FA or the league to court because they stopped them doing a different kind of deal from normal loan/buy? It was similar to this. They bought a player from say Liverpool for a greatly deflated price, like as a gross exageration, paying 10,000 for Bellamy. That meant he wasn't a loan player so you still had your 5 loans or whatever available. Then if city don't get promoted they sell him back to Liverpool for the same price. If City do get promoted there is a clause in the deal that says as he is back in the Prem they have to pay liverpool and additional 1,900.00. The League/FA said it was against the rules and TG said what value 2 clubs put on a player is up to them and the league has no say in it. In the end it didn't happen, but they came close to suing the League/FA for restriction of trade. Imagine the same thing here. We get 4 million to pay Bellamy's wages and if we don't get promoted Arsenal have a quality youngster. If we do get promoted we buy him back. Or is this just my twisted mind and all the pils out here???
Gezza's going nowhere until we get Keogh or someone like him on board. As for Keinan, unless we get a crop of injuries and suspensions in defence he will do no more than bench warm therefore a move away would suit him, and us if we get some cash back.
Did City pay a fee for Gerrard and/or Keinan? Looks like Keogh is not coming and the delay in Kim Bo is causing some concern.
Thought we would have seen a few more players joining us by now. I know Malky is careful about who he wants in the squad, but we are so lightweight at the moment, we really need to bolster the squad.
When you think about it we have added nothing just replaced players that have moved on. So on that basis alone and the fact that we have re-branded and have money to spend I will be disappointed if we don’t see 5 or 6 more players come in. " wingers and a target man is still a must if you ask me.
The only reason I can see for this man wanting to move to Derby rather than city, looking at both club's recent history and our ambition is because he may not have to move houses. What coventry want is not really any of his concern, and if he tells Derby no then all the offers in the world wouldn't be any good.
That and first team football. Our cb's will not be changed barring injury imo. I'm pretty sure he can cover RB too, but Kev and DB mean he'll have a fight on his hands for that too.
To refuse us will show he has a lack of ambition and is not prepared to compete for a first team place. Perhaps too complacent for us?

CCFC - nice one, good to see a ray of sunshine. Malky will have another target in mind. Perhaps another surpise from another country?
