After your last opinion I could not care less. I'm not here to please everyone I am here to talk football with them! I think the majority of this forum agrees they are top signings for a newly-promoted side. If you provided a good basis for saying so rather than calling people "dick" then maybe we would be a bit more receptive to your views.
I'm very pleased the way we have gone about things. My biggest fear this summer we were going to get some prem has been latching on to us, you know the one, small fee big wages type. For me, Nic & Nigel have gone about things in a very positive manner. I'm getting more excited about the City match by the day! (more so now Kompany has picked up a strain!!!! )
I missed the first bit of this post saying it was from Saintsweb, I was about to say you're being stupid and I expected better of you
If someone tells me my opinion is wrong, because they disagree with it, I'll call them whatever I want. I almost used another word but toned it down as 'Dick' is also a name and so less offensive - that's the way it works.
You should probably try to control yourself if you get riled by being told you are wrong on an internet forum and feel a need to burst into a vast array of vulgar language. So if I said something rather odd and people said "no way! That's wrong" I can call them a dick?
That might be the way it works (it isn't), but it's also a way of very quickly getting yourself banned.
Good, now apologise to the rest of us for trying to say we haven't made good signings Note - I hope you can sense the sarcasm in this post.
Anyway... I went onto KUMB to see how many people were saying that Clyne is crap, we are going down and so on. They all said he is a great signing. Those lot just aren't as miserable as SaintsWeb any more.
That's not a name though. So it's more offensive. Anyway, I'm bored so gonna do something besides sit on an Internet forum. I better leave before my post count becomes embarrassing (e.g. 300)
Clyne and Rodriguez have been signed with resale value in mind. If they continue to develop, they will no doubt be worth more than we signed them for, and that is of course if we did decide to sell in the future. Davis brings top-flight experience to a centre midfield that between it only has about 20 games experience in the top division. IMHO, very astute signings.
Clyne's already been told off He had changed his Twitter to Southampton player etc, but now has changed it back to Crystal Palace
