How much are you willing to sacrifice to win the champions league?

Will you be happy for United to play like Chelsea once, twice, three times or all the time to win the trophy? Spain set the example at national team level but did Chelsea do the same at club level?

The league is the priority. Always will be, anything else is just a nice shiny bonus. I would only sacrifice possibly the domestic trophies to pursue the CL. Hats off to Chelsea, it's what they wanted, but no I would not accept a season of floundering in fifth place to concentrate on it.

Chelsea have always been a negative team, whenever they play a top team they park the bus in try and hit them on the counter.

Proof is in the pudding, twice Fergie refused to play like that as fans would not accept that kind of football when its been the complete opposite for the last 15 years, even after the first Barca game he did not take on the Wembley game in that manner, thing is, Di Matteo could do nothing else it was forced on them, not like he "cracked it" but rather depended on Barca and then Bayern being so wasteful it was beyond funny, you make your own luck they say but Chelsea just had loads on those two games, it will not get them through a whole season.

No, I wouldn't like to win it at all costs..
Nasri and Pirlo (I think) even claimed "England played like Chelsea" at the Euros... So clearly people across Europe saw it as unnatractive.

Best to just not watch teams that play that way. I thought it was Stoke playing Barca and Bayern

The winners of a major tournament always set an example. Like brazil in the past with the beautiful game, like Barcelona in winning the champions league the previous season. I read somewhere that Platini was worried sick that European clubs might copy Chelsea's example and play the same type of football in the CL.
