Somebody needs to tell AG that then. Lol. His last tweets came last week from an irish golfing holiday. Its been very quiet overall this summer from AG though. £250,000 season loan fee for Ben Amos or £400,000 transfer fee for Paddy Kenny ? Whats the best deal here then, i know which i prefer.
If Ben Amos helps get us back to the PL it will be the best 250k ever spent, imo. I would not have Kenny at any price. Just dont rate him at all.
Dunno if this should be here or a new thread. Blog I wrote. Can view it and others here: http://boothferrytowembley.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/championship-rivals-business.html
Interesting Theo. Nice piece. But until the transfer window closes and the results start to occur its all just a guessing game for now. Then the loan window opens up to add more chaos to proceedings. I shall stick my neck out and say that IF Bruce can get the goals for adding up then a top 2 spot is very possible. +++++++++++++++++ Marko Futacs is being linked with a move from Pompey to our friends at Lesta Cardiff have signed Slovenian striker Ellen Velikonja Hayden Mullens who ended the season on Loan @ Reading from Pompey has now signed a 2 year deal at Birmingham City. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is desperate for Arsenal star Theo Walcott. Newcastle want to re-sign former player Andy Carroll but for £23m, less than what they sold him for to the Reds.
He could, with our Manchester United link, we should nick him on loan! I think he could go to a side challenging Champions League anyway, probably Arsenal if RVP does in fact leave.
I don't know if anyone has posted this already, but the Wendies are interested in taking Joey Barton on loan. I would have thought that Barton would say that he's far too good a player to play in the Championship
He cannot play for anyone in England for 12 games due to his ban. I suspect Barton will end up on loan in Europe until the New Year. Then again maybe an MLS team will take him until the end of there domestic season. ? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Chelsea will have to pay £60m to land Napoli striker Edinson Cavani and Brazilian playmaker Oscar. I seem to remember US immigration refusing him entry when Newcastle were doing a tour because of his criminal record, I may be wrong on that.
No you are correct on the USA issue but he could go to a Canadian club though. Other than that its europe or he sits out the 12 game ban here then. Blackburn or the Wendies,, Hull City would not face him.
