One that intrigues me is Enroller @ Uttoxeter, 2.50... Willy Muir has sent one to a track that he dosnt really go to, in fact according to the stats on ATR, he has only ever sent 1 runner here before. Willy has also said that the horse didnt appreciate the course when at Stratford lto, so to put him into this one 3 days later on a course that he dosnt go to sends out a signal to me... The going wont be a problem for him, or the distance, plus Paddy Brennan is in good nick... Not a big bet but enough for me to say its my NAP of the day...
Im blaming you Heis for me being layed up in bed today! I guess man flu can transfered through internet forums! Nothing new here but a treble on Fly Direct, Marie Des Anges and Beach Of Falesa to get me through the day! £15 returns just over 180 quid!
Guys - a little help if you will. Did a 0.15p e/w lucky 31 yesterday. Had 3 places @ 12/1, 7/1 and 9/2 (all 1/4 of the odds) the other was u/p and the last was a N/R. Does anyone know what my return should be?
Afternoon, people. The racing can be described as ‘fair to middling’ today and I’ll nominate to the old regular readers this dynamic duo in the concluding couple at Sandown Park. Ace of Valhalla (8.05 Sandown Park) – this one makes his handicap bow for Sir Henry here after running more than respectable to finish runner-up in his last 2 maidens. A mark of 76 looks very reasonable and I can see this progressive type, in the long term, being a much better animal than this figure. His sole effort this season at Royal Windsor, when second, was a nice performance and the race has since being enhanced as the winner that day (Rosslyn Castle) has, in his only subsequent race, gone in by 3.25 lengths off a perch of 87. He is incidentally now rated 96 so as mentioned above 76 for Ace of Valhalla is very attractive and I can see him going in here with something to spare. Cellist (8.35 Sandown Park) – for this correspondent the most interesting racing question of the day is has the handicapper got it spot on or gone too high or too low in awarding this horse a mark of 75??? To date his achievements are a couple of indifferent efforts followed by a stunning 19 length success in a 12 furlong maiden at Wolverhampton. Admittedly Cellist, what a lovely name for a horse by the way, did beat nothing of note that day but his manner of victory was effortless and he certainly hinted at being worthy of a mark well, and I do mean well, above 75. Stepped up another 2 furlongs today that should be of huge benefit as the beast looks a Stayer with a capital ‘S’. Long term I bet those jumping boys can’t wait to get there hands on this one. Good luck all.
Your NR should refunded for the single bet on it, the rest of the bets with the NR in will be settled in multiples, ie a double of your NR and one of the winners will be payed out as a single on the winner etc. Should return £17.58 according to the calculator here
Afternoon all, I think the first four favs at Catterick all have good chances starting with Silent Footsteps, and then i fancy Courtesy Call at lingfield who as a typical Johnstone horse will bounce out of stall 1 and lead all the way to the post. 2.10Catt Silent footsteps 2.40Catt Llewellyn 3.10Catt Gowanharry 3.40Catt Elizabeth Coffee 3.30 Ling Courtesy Call
