I thought the compensation only kicked in if the two clubs could not agree a price. Am sure I also read recently that it doesn't matter whether White goes to a different FAs jurisdiction - we get paid by whoever
If no agreement on fee is reached between the clubs, then it goes to the FA arbitration committee, who would likley award around £1m later in the year. Doing it this way Derby get White half price, and Warnock gets another £500k to add to the £200k he got yesterday. Austin and at least another in by next week.
Amazing place the Leeds board - one thread saying that Norwich can talk a walk for putting in a deriosory offer for Snodgrass and this one saying he's slow and only looked good in a poor team. I think you see so many of us on your boards as we are interested in your thoughts when we try to poach your players and I suspect more than a few of us quite like the banter which is usually pretty good and avoids the traditional six-fingered your mother is your sister jibes (however funny and original we all find them) For the record Norwich is a fine city and Ipswich is an armpit (or did I mean cesspit?) of a town which even its denziens struggle to defend.

The Daily Star said it, so it must be true. Also I think it's time we got past this idea that any player leaving only wants more money, for the past 7 years we've been a ****hole of a club that no-one in their right mind would want to play for. And Snoddy is in no way replaceable. The best player we've had outside the PL and if we could get better for cheaper why aren't Norwich and Villla? Wouldn't blame him if he left but our season is ****ed if he does.
Norwich fans Snodgrass is the best player outside of the premiership hence why hes worth more than 1.5million, his only problem is pace which could be a slight hinderance but the only way to find out is to buy him. Im sure Leeds fans have given very accurate views of players that have left Johnson - **** footballer but good workhorse (don't let him shoot) Howson - great player great engine can pick a pass suffers if he doesnt have a decent cm partner can go missing at times
