He had one good season (his first) after which he was gash. Let's put it this way, I was not sad he "said no"
lol forget murray and whyte its all a conspiracy. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=231876 Posted Yesterday, 11:13 PM I think we have to be very careful here. The latest abuse of power, their threat to punish Ally McCoist, is just another punch in the face © Jim Spence. What will tomorrow bring? No doubt another threat of something to hurt our club, and make it less appealing for fans to go and watch Rangers. They are trying to psychologically break the Rangers support, in the hope that we will break ranks and take things into our own hands, which will in turn, play into their hands.. They want us to engage in "civil unrest" by provoking us out onto the streets, but making sure we are angry as ****........I think they are trying to provoke another situation like Manchester, where the police will brutalise Rangers fans, then Rangers fans will be pictured defending ourselves, and it will be portrayed as us "rioting" again. Its precisely the sort of thing these bastardsare looking for. They want to demonise us and our club, and they are trying to provoke us into crossing the line. This is an exercise in social engineering, akin to the New Labour scheme of flooding the UK with immigrants so the natural order of society is disrupted. I honestly believe that John Reid, amongst others has a fair bit to do with our current predicament, through his previous influence in the corridors of power. If that man can sleep at night as a war criminal, I have no doubt whatsoever he is malicious enough to have set the wheels in motion for a lot of our problems. That is first class insanity.

Aye - I'm sure you saw him playing week in week out... He still winds up the great unwashed despite living abroad and not playing for Rangers for years. This is his greatest gift. Mon the wee man.
did rangers fans see him playing week in week out? i honestly didnt think he started many games his greatest gift is self promotion - he is smarter than he looks
He was an average player. But an average player who scored some very important goals and was (and still is) hated by the rival support years after his spell at Rangers.
He did have a very good first season. After that he struggled for about a season after a double hernia operation if I remember rightly. He became more of an impact player after that. He always seemed to pull something out of the bag in big games. Novo was one of these guys that seems to infuriate rival fans like Peter Grant, Ian Ferguson, Neil Lennon, Mark Hately, Chris Sutton or Graham Roberts.
well i dont hate him i dont rate him and if he was ham eggs and chips i wouldnt even plate him check out my fly style!
I'm not denying his ability to wind up fans - quite the opposite in fact. The difference between him and those other players is that they were all at least semi-decent at football. Personally, I don't hate him in the slightest. As i said in my first post, it's amusing that such a poor player is lauded, primarily for his ability as a wum. He's made his career out of it.
It's all a big Papish conspiracy, the only surprise is that Mario Conti and The Pope don't get a mention.
Nacho Novo was a badge kissing heart thumping player ... a player who done his up most to cover up his lack of true skill. A hard working player - probably. Didn't see him play on a weekly basis, but when I did I was unimpressed. He lives off a falsehood that he actually said no. As I understand it, Celtic spoke to him/his reprentatives and after hearing their demands (one to be a 1st team regular - played as a Striker - MON apparently saw him as a right sided attacking midfielder), Celtic stopped the talks and decided to not proceed any further. There was nothing to say No to - no contract was offered. Why, if he would never have wanted to play for Celtic, did he let his representatives talk to them? He fooled the huns into believing his "I said no" pish and then proceeded to kiss the badge as much as possible. The most Dundonian Spaniard I have ever seen!
