When AVB got sacked, where were Chelsea. And where did they end up?

Tottenham's form wasn't AVBs fault. He did however play a part in you still being in the FA Cup and CL and there is no bargaining for the best players in Europe all missing penalties and sitters against a team with no ideas of their own. AVB was not as lucky as RDM, but still a better manager.

If avb was still in charge we would of been knocked out by Napoli. He was tactically naive that he set out to play a high line againts one of the best counter attacking teams in europe.

AVB was tactically inept and we would have been knocked out by Napoli. We never would have beaten Barca or Bayern in their own back yard with him. I'm intrigued to see how he does with you. As for the original post, I don't see why we can't defend our title as we have improved our team since our win.

Still bitter then HIAG?!?! The only thing funnier then your obsession with us and Liverpool is the story today about Spurs being in for Hulk!!!

More chance of getting Lou Ferrigno lining up on the right wing, maybe that's who they meant?

Can't remember AVB being touted as such a good manager on the Spuds board back at the start of the year <whistle>

To all Chelsea fans. Honestly, who do you think will last longer?

    AVB or Di Matteo?

Without meaning to wum, try to answer honestly.

It will be interesting but I expect RDM to succeed and be with us for a while. I know that Roman wants a big name as our manager but this lad just won us two trophies in what was shaping up to be our worst ever season. AVB though couldn't get to grips with the premier league and his tactics were ****ing ridiculous.

Honestly, probably AVB but then you did sack your best manager for a long time in Harry so both our clubs are hardly shining in glory at the moment on that front.

Invariably we will go for Pep as soon as he's got bored of gardening or whatever he plans to do now. Not the Chelsea fans' choice but clearly Roman wants him. RDM would have to be more than good to stay in charge; at least winning the league or C.L again this season which will be very tough.
