The MET office have now issued a warning for 50mm to 80mm of rainfall for today over large areas of Central Scotland. They cannot be specific about the where the heaviest rain will be so get yer wellies and survival packs out, water wings are optional. I,m night-shift so as long as I get home I don't give a ****. Good luck swimmers.
Like us Patricks you Jocks should be able for a bit of rain ffs. Meant to be an Indian summer next week. In India.
In all honesty we are meant to get a proper summer from next week. Something to do with the Gulf Stream or some other such ****e beyond my knowledge. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-18868494
Here's hoping they're right about the jet stream, I,ve never in all my long years experienced a summer as wet as this. I,m night-shift just now and every time I nick out for a *** I put on one of those luminous yellow coats, not just to keep dry but so my rescuers can see me when I get swept out onto the street.
Just a misty drizzle down here in London today. Makes you feel mournful rather than downright depressed, but my god wouldn't I love to see the sun.
I lived in Darwin for a few months. **** me it's hot. Melbourne will be ****e this time of year will it not?
It's like a ****ing knitting circle on here. Next you ****s will be discussing the fact that the ****e weather will see a 1 p rise in the price of a loaf by the end of the year.
Thats just wishful thinking, I think we could be closer to 12% rise in the price of wheat and a 23% rise in the price of barley coupled with increasing fuel duty. It could be closer to 23p rise in the cost of loaf of bread. I m just floured by it all!
I lived in St. Kilda for about 4 months in 2009 when you had that heatwave. Labouring in 46 degree heat was fun
