Indeed... Some serious players being signed, playing under a top manager with lots of Champions League experience. They only really brought in B-class players last summer, now it's onto the A-class.
They are definitely opening the chequebook this season, Ibrahimovic is their big marquee signing but in my opinion Thiago Silva and Lavezzi will be the big new stars in that team. If they keep this up they could become a force to be reckoned with in Europe again.
They are going to be in pot four in the CL. So either one of our teams could face them in the group stages of the CL.
Last year, they were in pot 3, but despite winning the league, their performances in Europe was not very good. Not sure, it will definitely be either pot 3 or 2 though.
