So the answer is no then. It's just another guy righting his own piece and inserting selected quotes.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying these quotes are inaccurate but the mirrors piece quotes "a wide ranging interview" but selects statement regarding this one subject. Either the reporter doesn't know what "wide ranging" is or I'd like to see what questions were asked Suarez directly and what other things he said around these quotes .

It can make a great deal of difference.....you know, quoting somebody correctly when you know what your saying is for public consumption. Can make all the difference how people hear & judge a situation.....

Alan, any chance of an original RR Gol link to the interview in Suarez's native language?

A Man Utd blogger and a copy of what the Utd blogger said by the Mirror is hardly proof of context and the type of questions asked by the interviewer.

Apparently interview will be posted on the BBC news channel according to Simon Ellis-Jones before the end of the day.

I hope it includes All questions asked & all answers given.

Lol; my Spanish is sh*te, anyone else fluent?

Well at least I can match the number of questions asked with what I'm assuming will be a translation on the BBC

What's all the fuss about. Both players have given their 'take' on the same incident. Apart from countering what Suarez had already said I really cannot see the purpose behind the BBC piece.

However this is par for the course when it comes to BBC sports journalism of recent times and would appear to give some validity to Suarez's claim about the political clout of Manchester United.

I posted a link to Evra having his retrospective say on the subject dave due to it being overlooked, the 'ordeal' affected both players in different ways but they either both have a right to discuss it or they both dont.

As for the 'clout' Utd have within the media i think you'll find it being more prevalent since the BBC moved its entire football/sports dept to the new Media City facility in Salford.

To be fair mate the BBC piece is dated 16/05/12 it probably pre-empted the similar Suarez piece the BBC posted on the 25/05/12 of an interview with Russian Journalists.

It's the reason I want to hear the context of this new Suarez interview: what exactly was he asked to go into this again.

Think it's bad timing this week (from his point of view) one of United's players shoots himself in the foot with absolute silence from United over a similar matter. The very last thing he should be doing is bringing the focus back on him, back on that event if he truly believes what he is saying he should let the heat fall on United under similar events and watch the moral high ground crumble.

He's giving them, the media & the FA a deflection right when they need it.

Think its actually great timing myself. Just after the John Terry trial, remind the FA how they treated the Uruguayan Suarez and put pressure on them to punish the English John Terry for the same amount as Suarez was or even longer.

There was actually talk that both of them, from the Terry case, would be banned for foul and abusive language, yet I don't remember Evra getting any punishment for abusing Suarez (which he admitted to).

I really don't want to get involved in this again. There's enough negative **** surrounding us at the moment with this Carroll thing.

Oh don't get me wrong the opinion can be voiced but he shouldn't be the one. It should be some ex players now media or a friendly journo. Or fans calling into radio shows & making life uncomfortable for the sh*tes that sat in judgement last time. Let them stutter their justifications on air.

This just fills the media columns with the Suarez story again & makes them all feel better about what they said & wrote back then. Meanwhile United can sit silent thanking S for taking those columns away from them.

Yet again we show our complete lack of media savvy. We are truly PR ******ed. And anyone that rejoices in that is plain stupid. If you want to beat the b*stards you play the game to the best of your abilities or get someone that can. You don't whine about how it's unfair the decks loaded against you because you want to play by a completely different set of rules.

Well, let's see how our new communications director plays this one .

You think it shows United clout that the BBC are reporting that Suarez is saying United policitally run sport in England. You don't think that is news worthy at all by itself ?

The only thing it proves is how stupid this lad is <ok>
