Wouldn't be bothered if we did/didn't get Walcott. 15m is a bit steep, though. 25m for Walcott would be Anderson-crazy and almost Carroll-ludicrous. I'd much prefer Valencia or Lennon (no chance of getting either) or Adam Johnston (who we've been linked with). Nobody else immediately springs to mind.

Johnstone is a good shout; has a better end product imo. However, not a regular under a couple of managers now....have to ask why not? All much of a muchness; doubt we'll get any of them. <ok>

  3. Adam Johnson would 100% be my choice <ok>

    P.Reina
    G.Johnson - M.Skrtel - D.Agger - J.Enrique
    S.Gerrard - Lucas Leiva - J.Henderson
    L.Suarez - F.Borini - A.Johnson

Edit: if my below prediction (signature) is wrong than Aquilani instead of Henderson <ok>

  4. Quite obvious why not, he is at Man City and being wasted. Same goes for a few others like James Milner (ignore what he did in the summer, he is a quality player that would improve Man Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham and ourselves) <ok>

If he was good enough, he's start every possible game. I simply questioned why City managers don't think he's good enough!.....All told, I think he'd be a good signing for us and Milner is also a good shout......Like a Kuyt with control <laugh> <ok>

I feel the same way about Aqua, if he knuckles down and wants to work for it. He could be fantastic in a BR team!

I rate both Milner and Johnson and I agree they are being wasted at City. <ok>

I sometimes wonder how much of City's squad exists just to preclude them being utilized by rivals? Some teams must have done that from time to time. Nobody else think that? No? Just me then. :emoticon-0181-fubar :)

  10. I think Real Madrid did it for years, probably still do.

I wouldn't mind Adam Johnson or James Milner at Liverpool but I don't want to see us sign the latter. I rate him and think he would improve the team but he would cost a lot in both fee and wages. Adam Johnson would cost a fair chunk (I'd estimate around £15m) but I believe his wages aren't as high <ok>

Totally agree. It's sometimes a little annoying when people talk sense. :emoticon-0116-evilg Maybe I should haunt pastures less sane - Man U, Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal boards perhaps...maybe not. <ok>

It'll have to be nothing to do with the EPL if you're looking for sanity....... <ok>

Haha! I hear you KKK. <ok> Pardon the abbreviation, that's how it came out. ;) Would you prefer Kenny or King, perhaps?
