BigDownUnder to ban or not to ban?

Nicely put and I sympathise with the last point - however, there are other fucn unfunny dimwits, almost as annoying, it's that he only infests our board - let's face it, it's ****ing wierd, also sad and agreed, he can **** off!

 

Not being funny, this guy is claiming to be a Newcastle fan, so why has he never been on the Newcastle board and spends a lot of time on the Sunderland board says it all really, sad and gives the genuine Newcastle fans on here a bad name. So I would say I'm surprised you guys haven't banned him already.

 

Agreed mate, my point is when you lot pile in we are usually up for it anyway.

Aye mate I was inundated with ban BC PM's whilst mod, and I said then just ignore him or laugh at him!
After all he was a supposed Sunderland supporter.
His racist leanings then brought about his own downfall. Quite rightly!

BDU claims to be a Newcastle supporter, so in my mind does not get the leeway I allowed for BC being a Sunderland supporter.

 

Just to put my two penneth in. I'm against banning wums who come on here from other boards, most I dont mind and some piss me off but they come, with cause like the 5-1 game, last weekend, then within a few days they go.

With BDU he comes on for one reason and one reson only, thats why I detest him and if banned he would be banned, come back and his IP would be blocked.

That said by far the best solution is to simply ignore, that will hurt him more, problem is we will never get everyone to ignore him. I'm not voting because it will be me doing the banning so best you lot decide on this one.

 

I don't see the problem with his gormless rants. I would only consider a ban, for him or anyone else for that matter, if they became thretening, racist or OTT offensive.

 

Didn't the Troll get a temp ban when we first came over to "Not"? As I recall, he was getting a little excitable what with the new found freedom, and when he came back on he had calmed down a bit, and was verging on sensible. Just seems like he's getting a little excitable again. Happens with kids, E numbers and that, you know.

 

I definitely don't want the Newcastle lads banned, as it is fun telling them to **** off to their own board.
(And a couple of them can be quite amusing!)

I don't want BDU banned from NOT, just the Sunderland board.
If, as he professes to be, a Newcastle supporter, he can join in on one of the Tashes threads. ( A match made in heaven two virgins together.)

Putting him on ignore wouldn't stop visitors to our board, seeing his inane comments either.

I have spoken to a few African lads who have been guesting on this board with a view to joining,However when they read comments from him, they decided to wait a bit longer, can you imagine what new members would feel like.
