    Remember all those articles about Jose leaving for Liverpool? Pardew refuted them.

    I don't believe anything unless it comes from Pardew.

    I personally think this is just general full back cover if true, but i reckon it's ****e.

    In all seriousness nufcblog are **** for transfer news, cant remember the last thing they got right. Although I have read that he has been scouted by Carr incase Enrique does go.

    Don't overestimate Pardew. He hasn't shown that he's not as full of bollocks as all the other managers in this league

    That's not true. Why people can't just accept Pardew for who he is, I will never know, he has done well for us.

    Yes he has done well for us and he took over in a difficult situation back in December bit for me he talks about bringing in players but I hope keeps his word and spends that 35 million.

    I think since we havent actually held talks with Enrique yet we wouldnt go so far as to bid for another player. If this story has any truth to it, I think we'll have just enquired as to how much he would cost in case we lose Enrique. I think we would only launch a solid bid if talks broke down with Enrique.

    And this guy wouldnt be cover, you dont bid 5mil for LB cover when he's better than all of your RBs and costs more than them combined.

    Hopefully its bollocks, or just asking in case Jose does in fact leave.

    They have rejected £5m, so talks of Jose going for £8m are dire. £15m minimum.

    If he is a good as Enrique and we dont get more than 10mil for him (if he does go), then I'd happily spend what we get from that transfer on M'Bengue. You have to replace quality with quality, and if he is in Enrique's league, then 8mil is a decent deal.

    I still dont actually expect Enrique to leave though, so hopefully we're just being precautionary.
