have any of you read the latest crap by bruce? bruce believes the team can win as many as half of the remaining six games. half, ****ing half, what kind of talk is this? he's been harping on about a bad run of fixtures against the top boys, and now we have six games that were high-lighted as winnable and he says we can win half. carry on like this and next week he'll be saying, **** it throw the towel in, we're doomed. no wonder the team are ****e if the manager reckons we can only win as many as 3 out of 6 games against lower teams exept bolton. while many would accept 3 wins, surely he should be thinking we can win all of them. think before you speak bruce, you're making a fool out of yourself.
I understand your feelings mate and can sense your anger towards Bruce haha but at least he is trying to be positive and as Sunderland fans we will turn out in our thousands until the end of the season to support the team and manager. A win on Saturday could propell us to a good little run in, KTF bud.

Exactly why he needs to go! Hes got no ambition and its filtered down to the players now! A good manager would recognise the faults and let downs and believe we can win em all! But hes not a good manager! No one wants a realist as a manager and he just doesnt fit the ambition of Short or Quinn with this rediculous statement!
I think Bruce is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesnt, right now he is a very easy target but like it or not he is our manager and he and the team need our support for the next 6 games, why? We could sack Bruce next week and sell all the players we dont rate. We could do lts of things and Bruce and the players would move on, we, the long suffering fans remain so its the club I support and whoever managers or plays for the club will have my support in the build up to the game. If they lose and give another crap performance I will vent my anger over the weekend then by Tuesday will be back to supporting, thats our role and what we signed up for, I know you will do the same. Bruce would be best keeping quiet but he cant, he is obligated to talking but yes, he does have the knack of saying it wrong. He should be saying we will be going all out to win every game.
that's what he should be doing and thats what we expect of him, but his defeatist attitude doesn't inspire anyone at the moment, 6 winnable games but says we MAY win half, i wonder if he has already ear marked the games where this is to happen. i want bruce to suceed, in fact im one of the few not calling for his head, but when i read his latest comment it was more of, WTF maybe a few hours with milliband and he will be able to spin his words better, ****ing politicians at least they promise you the world and not just some of it.

I was a SB supporter but no longer. I was willing to be patient and give him 2/3 seasons to show improvement, well he has had best part of 2 seasons and the looked for improvement is not happening. Too many of his buys have proved duds, OK bent had to go but not to bargain for say Agbonlaor or a n other is proving a poor gamble. We had a very poor run last year and we are in the middle of a very poor run this year, it needs to change or we are relegated, over the last 8 games we the the leagues worst side. We have been poor in the cups (realistically our only chance of silverware) and we have been appalling against the skunks. NQ has asked us to turn up and show support ,we have, but the team has not turned up, poor spirit, energy, tactics and fight have been displayed. Whilst the players themselves are not absolved from blame Bruce and Black are obviously not up to the job, SB was a decent player but he does not have what it takes to produce a consistent team performance. He probably has to stay to the summer come what may, but I think I am not the only one to say he lacks credibility to take us forward (if he does not take us down!)
Silly comment by Bruce.Is he unable to be more economical with the truth.?If our current form continues we will be relegated so I would probably take three wins if it was offered now.It isn't.So why aim so low ? FFS.

My position on Bruce is well enough known - goodbye. But I think what we're doing to the man here is very unfair. He couldn't win, could he? If he'd said 'We're going to win all the remaining games', this board would have been crammed with howling laughter - I mean, the way we're playing! If he'd said 'The way we're going, we'll win none of them', this board would have crucified him for not inspiring his team and supporters. So he said the only thing left. I sympathize with him. I want him gone, but not like this.

The thing is mate, there's mid ground between the two. He could have said... "The next six games we are more than capable of getting good results from. And I would expect my team to go out and try to win them all!"
like i said earlier, before any interview, have a meeting with milliband for pointers on spin, he would never have let bruce say that, his spin would be, i believe we can win all our remaing games and take 21 points, yes we can win 7 games even though we only have six
Bit harsh on Bruce this as we do not know what goes on in the dressing room and with injuries and Bent's sale I think he deserves a bit of sympathy and if we do finsh top ten then that will be what his aim at the start of the season was and you cant really sack him for that.
it's not about bruce getting sacked mate, it's about another stupid bruce statement saying "we can win half of our remaining matches" ****ing stupid statement, and nowt to do with injuries, dressing room or bent, it's more about why he makes himself look like a tool in the eyes of the world.
Who do we blame for the team looking tactically inept, not being able to mark up at corners, not being able to make set plays anywhere near threatening? The tealady?
haha I know I dont get a lot of confidence from Bruce's interviews either. I think many sunderland fans will never forgive him for the Halloween disaster as well
