With the possibility that we might have a squad including; Nick Proschewitz , Vasilios Koutsianikoulis, Ahmed El Mohamady and Abdoulaye Faye next season we desperately need some nick-names.

    Any offers?

    Edit; And Apostolos Vellios

From some other threads, I got the impression the nicknames for the First three were Schnorbitz, Billy Koutsia and Elmo.

As for faye? Are there any famous Fayes out there we can nick a name from?

According to John Terry it's Jerry, Bubble, Raghead and BC.

Hold on, Rio Ferdinand will be along in a minute to say they all mean something completely innocent.

Velios isn't coming - Bruce confirmed he wasn't a target. I think Billy is a good name for Koutsia, What about (Prosch)witzy teenyweenyyellowpolkadotbikini? Elmo is standard, it's what Sunderland call him, so might as well stick to it. (To the theme of "This is the Kings Town") He's Abdoulaye Faye, He's Abdoulaye Faaayyyee, built like a brick ****house, he's Abdoulaye Faye.

If we're having Elmo can't we call the Greeks Bert and Ernie, Proshwitz can be Big Bird, and Faye I can't think of a Sesame Street character so he can be Paula.

It's probably better to wait and see players before choosing nicknames I reckon! The funniest thing I heard at city was somebody saying 'get a move on Rasputin' to....Mark Hateley, you had to be there to see him lumbering about like a crocked wizard

I'm slightly concerned that you know the names of any Sesame Street characters. <laugh>
