BigDownUnder to ban or not to ban?

Quite simple really YES to ban NO to let him stay.


Most of you know my views on banning I usually say no, let them hang themselves.

If he was a regular poster on the Newcastle board I would say NO, wumming is part of forum life.

The guy is not a WUM he is now just an irritant who disrupts the flow of threads.
He contributes nothing to our board apart from said disruption.

Therefore, I now think it is time he departed the Sunderland board.

in fact if you look at several clubs forum's, our's is like play school,

As an outsider I would say ban him.

1) He never attempts to have a constructive football debate with you lot.
2) He hijacks threads and turns them into slagging matches
3) He never posts on the Newcastle board, proving that he only wants to WUM
4) People like him have made many of your fans over sensitive to other Newcastle fans, making it impossible to come on here and have a bit of banter or good humoured piss taking.

Before when asked this i said no, but I'm tired of the little prick now as he disrupts the threads, and he wouldn't get away with it anywhere else. after all he is a skunk of the worst kind, and no doubt will be back in many guises

Well said. I come on here out of interest in Sunderland. At first, I read posts from e.g. 5-1, Downunder, &co. I found nothing of interest in them, and nothing to amuse either. I don't read anything at all with a Newcastle-linked name now.

 

I've voted yes. After the bans of Big_Chris and BigDownUnder, I also propose that all users with "Big" in their usernames be screened by our moderators before being allowed to post. Selective Pre-Moderation.

 

I fully understand and appreciate everyone's feelings on this idiot and i'm certainly not trying to defend the cretin, but if you go down the banning route where do you draw the line? he's not the only muppet to frequent this board, there are others who are equally stupid and irritating and are on here far more often that him. Agree, he never contributes to anything, Only causes slagging matches. But having said that, he will probably pop up as something else. Usually I ignore it..him..her, but some of us bite, hence the slagging match. I agree with Commachio, let him die on his own.
