If you were Van Persie, which Manc club would you sign for?

Man City are expected to sign him, but both Manc clubs are in pursuit of him.

Which club do you reckon would suit him more?

But can you Imagine Rooney and RVP?

Rooney might be criticised a lot, and classed as "over rated", but I personally think he's one of the best players in the world.

He drops deep quite often, and words hard. Which often stops him from being in goal scoring positions. His creative skills are excellent, and he's relied on for them, and he still manages to score around 25 goals In a season, despite being heavily relied upon for his midfield work.

    ----------RVP-----------

    Young---Rooney-----Valencia

    ----Giggs------New DM---

    Evra---Vidic---Ferdinand--Jones

    --------De Gea-------------

I personally think he'd fit into Man Utd's set up a lot more.

If United really want him, they can easily compete with City for wages. United pay Rooney like 250k a week, so they can easily fork out the same amount for RVP.

Is RVP quick enough for City? He's technical, but I really can't imagine him fitting into their style. I think he'd be much better off going to United IMO.

City pass a lot, and are more technical, but Man United's stylel with their wingers, Rooney's quality and their overall creative ability, I reckon United would be better for him.

City play a lot of passes, and work their way into goal scoring opportunities with quick passing, technical play.

Man Utd have quick players, and have passing quality everywhere, and they have the ability to provide a key delivery towards a goal, from anywhere on the pitch.

Man Utd produce quality, without needing much possession, City play to keep possession, and produce quality passing play, and slice through their opponents with build up play.

United can still produce quality to win matches, despite being the lesser team in possession.

City struggle to find that winning moment in games at times. Man Utd nearly always do. And RVP is always the best player to have in those moments. He's such a great finisher and has great reactions and ability to put away any sort of chance.

    Your thoughts?

I'd go to Manchester United, as he would get more first team football and would probably progress more. Can see him fail at Man City.

I'd join Sunderland for a club record fee on club record wages then remind people of the fact I'm made of glass, be injured for the full duration of my contract.

Upon leaving I'd call their fans **** and join a CL club to play in their reserves and celebrate 'winning a trophy with them' after a single substitute appearance in the league cup.

I doubt he'll have the choice. I think he'll be Real Madrid, Barcelona bound. Arsenal will nto want to sell him to any club in this country and whilst I acept players have a habit of changing their mind, he has said he would not move to another club in this country.

If he were to choose one I think he'd fit in better at United but you might as well sign for City if you are looking for the one more likely to win the title.

I'd also go to Utd. They'd pay about the same as City but I wouldn't be competing with Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli etc... for a start. RVP would be scary at Man Utd. I think he'll go to City though, just seems a natural path that so many players have trodden the past few seasons.

City - more £££ better players, better atmosphere, more chance of winning things I think.
