The only reason I can come up with as to why it's in London, is maybe because they see it as one of the most iconic celebrations and want to respect it? Or it's just Cockney's attempting to take the piss....

It doesn't look real to me, looks a bit photoshop'd (I'm a graphic designer by trade), but I've been wrong before.
Many neutrals seem to like that celebration, at least we have some to look back and smile on from our relegation season!
