Each one of those is an individual sect within Christianity.
Each of those can form an orange lodge should they so wish
Each of those has a differing theology

****ed again you lying bitch

Is the derogatory term "Dirty/Sad Orange Bastard" sectarian?

I'm not asking which non-Catholic branch of Christianity is Orange, I'm asking you to admit that the phrase is sectarian.

Yes.

But it is an interesting point.

Being an Irish Catholic at a club with a vehemently anti Irish and anti Catholic support cannot be easy for the young man. I am sure he is being protected within the club, but he cannot be protected from it forever. He's have to be stupid not to see the racism and sectarianism around the place.

Raangers are the supporters who sing sectarian songs.

Rangers are the supporters who sing racist songs.

This is the unhealthy environment I speak of.

Rebelbhoy- The article is fairly conclusive.

-----------

No it isn't. It isn’t conclusive at all.

It doesn’t make me joyless or less humourous because I won’t tolerate racism. It is generally the folk who indulge in this close to the knuckle ‘banter’ who adopt that line. I can’t abide racism but I cannot hang someone out to dry without proof of their wrongdoing.

It is why I cannot condemn Ki but every day of the week I will have a go at the Rangers fans who sing racist songs because they definitively are racist.

Shall I keep going?

Because I haven't came across the "Rangers fans are all racist monkeys" yet.

I think you might be right. I think the racism and sectarianism attached to that club would also be diluted to such an extent that it would eventually disappear for good.

That can only be a good thing.

I actually feel sorry for you now.

I'm just going through some of your posts and can see that you're trying to be a good citizen, but you keep failing by calling all Rangers fans bigots and racists, saying the club is racist and sectarian.

Guess you've got one massive chip on your shoulder to get rid of before you are truly forgiven by God. (and me) <ok>

Can we skip the bits where I make entirely valid points and get to the bit where I call all Rangers fans sectarian and racist.

Your pathetic attempts to justify your lies are really showing you up.

Please carry on

Interesting that you should devote such an unhealthy amount of time to fruitlessly trying, and failing, to undermine me whilst neglecting to do even the most simplest of things like condemn racism and sectarianism.

it's really flattering, and hopefully some of my wisdom will have infiltrated that tiny mind of yours.

I can't go on, it's boring as ****.

I have a huge brain full of useful and non-bitter knowledge.

Going through your page there was decent, I can see that your not as one-sided and blinkered as I thought, though it seems to me that you're a bit of a idealist, which in my opinion, isn't healthy, but each to their own.

You are still wrong on many counts I hasten to add, but I can see that your not a bigoted prick like some of those that you engage with on 606, so fair play to you.

I need to get some work done, thanks for ****ing up my week you prick :)

<ok>

Why the **** do you keep saying that?

I even did it in bright blue letters so you could read it!

<doh>

I'm begining to think I've been duped by some sort of super-WUM <laugh>

It was just concerning that this thread began with you saying that you didn't want the songs sung because of the damage it could cause to Rangers. Not because of any desire to eradicate sectarianism and racism.

What i was seeking was a condemnation of racism and sectarianism.
Not a condemnation of the songs (for the purpose of not facing UEFA sanctions)-(which, I promise you is how it reads if you can be arsed to read it again)

Maybe Celtic fans were mocking Walter's fake Tan? In fact, strike that, they were.

I know most Celtic fans and none of them would make a sectarian statement nor sing a bigotted song, therefore I can only conclude base upon my own experience that Celtic fans who sing about "sad Orange bastards" are in fact making a sarcastic statement about Walter's love of Sun Tan Parlours.

I know that for certain.
