Say Vidic and Rio get injured for the long term, who do you think could be captain? Now I don't mean give it to the long serving player but rather someone with the proper qualities who could lead the team on the pitch? Any suggestions?
I don't think I'd chose Evra over Fletcher, there's many reasons I wouldn't chose him. Evra hasn't fully recovered from the World Cup tragedy. I wouldn't necessarily think the best option would be making him captain at the moment. First of all, he generally needs the confidence to lead on the pitch, that's something which he's currently lacking.
You sure you want Evra as captain eatcustard? The last time he got the armband he persuaded the whole team to go on strike!
