    I'd be massively surprised if we got him back me like. Sky sports reported that it was our club who let them know we put an offer un for him. That doesn't seem like our style to me like.

    There was a lad on twitter last week wednesday/thursday spouting that a deal had already been accepted and that the contract terms were being thrashed out with him.

    Seems like he was at least half right but I wonder if the rest of it is also.

    Sky Sports report a lot of things. Very little of it has roots in fact or reality. The only relevant point is have they managed to get either club to comment yet? From what I can see this is a media frenzy to start the transfer merry go round. Neither SSN or the BBC seem to have an official comemnt from either club so I'm calling bullshit on this one until they do.

    I'd welcome him back but I just don't see it as he'll struggle to get a game. Ba can't get a go in his preferred role and he was banging them in for fun. Carroll would have to be putting playing for his hometown club above his career in general. This seems wholly unlikely to me. I do believe they'll want to sell, I'm just not convinced this sin't the media putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5.

    I wish they'd stop talking about him so much and let the issue go away, he doesn't play for us now and we aren't going to meet his wage demands so why not just let it drop.

    Only if he puts Judas on the back of his shirt and takes number 30 (for the pieces of silver his cold black heart craves).

    Nah, I don't know really. Probably he would get a good reception since he was playing in black and white. I still think you'd have to boo him the first time he comes on the pitch for the pantomime aspect, but I'm sure everyone would want him to do well for the club.

    When he came back up with Liverpool he got boo'ed every time he touched the ball but I think a lot of it was just for fun. He seemed to take it in good heart anyway.
