Isn't the definition, a black man who behaves like a white man slightly dodgy in itself? It implies difference, but also homogeniety across a class (e.g. all black people behave in one way, all white people behave in another way).
thanks have never heard that one lol, is it regarded as racist though as it should be if you follow the arguement through re choc ice
I don't think wigger is racist. Then again I don't think Calling somebody a choc ice is racist either. However, both terms play on perceived differences between races and so are therefore not helpful overall.
i personally think both names are racist as it infers that the person is acting in a way that is not actetable to there own colour ,what p***es me off is that the moment the word racist is mentioned its assumed a black man is being victamised, even the police seem scared to follow up racist comments by any black person because the table will be turned by the black person ,and yes before anyone gets personal i do have a bee in my bonnet over this, and im NOT racist
not really ,wouldnt make a difference the number of black friends i have to what i think is just asking for an even playing field regarding rascism, The PC brigade is making normal life a mine field and common sense has gone out the window ,
I think there is an even field regarding racism. Of course most of the incidents that you hear about are going to be white on black and not the opposite way around. This is partly a simple numbers matter, but also because of the attitudes of many white people in this country which are generally not shared by those within BME communities, due to a wide range of things including differeing cultural reference points.
South Park's full on approach to so called thorny issues makes them one of the best ever social commentaries and has always had me in stitches. They really don't give a ...... who they offend. This sketch is up there with their finest moments.
