So this is it then - today all the top teams in Scotland meet to discuss the new reality. Earliest news is in that both Dundee Utd and St Mirren have completely ruled out letting Sevco join the league - I think that will be put to bed today.
Only in Scotland could it still be considered a possibility weeks after a 10-1 vote against it happening! The decision needs to be made so everyone can plan and move on and actually plan for he season which for the new huns starts in less than 2 weeks
I think the time is right to try and guess what this week's story will be. Will it be: 1) No SFA membership/expulsion after appellate reconvenes meaning no Scottish Cup 2) No buildings/public liability insurance lodged for Ibrox (which it's rumoured doesn't belong to Sevco anyway) meaning that Newco will play their home games next season at Auchenhowie/Flesher's Haugh 3) Old liabilities passed to Sevco with transfer of assets meaning administration inevitable ...or will it be none of the above? Maybe it will be someone showing Dingwall what "holocaust" actually means.
I'm hearing Caley Thistle are going tro try and reverse their vote today and allow newco/sevco into the SPL as they are saying they only voted them out because they were assured by Regan and Doncaster the huns would definitely be in division one. Apparently there are four clubs that fear administration next season that are now considering doing a u-turn so it looks as if the SFL chairmen who said on Friday the story still has a few twists and turns are about to be proven correct.
It's ****ing laughable. Hullo, hullo, we are the Sevco boyz, Hullo, hullo, out your pram came all yer toyz, Yeez wir really keen tae shaft oor team, Ye overdosed on icecream, But now we're heading back to the SPL!
I personally would not give two ****s if they were allowed into the SPL, with the "Squad" they have they would be lucky to avoid relegation anyway.
The same SPL teams that voted Rangers out have been lobbying Regan and Doncaster to ensure Div 1. That failed now they're ****ting it. Rangers got what was deserved. If the St Midden dude is to be believed there will be up to 5 teams in administration before the end of August. His club being one of them. There was no choice to the punishment doled out to Rangers but it's a ridiculous state of affairs when the punishment to one club threatens to seriously impact so many others. Scottish fitba is a ****ing mess.
I`m getting sick of just how much Sevco are punishing the other spl teams, kicking them when they are down, Sevco should be careful what they wish for, Sevcos bloodlust will destroy scottish football. But dont worry, we will drag Sevco down as well.
A day we can finally be happy and rejoice, its like the politicians finding a good day to put out bad news. Our bad news in Maltese Mick and his supporter come out to post. Despite their standing been around the same level as David Murray and Whyte whose financial credence is at the same level as Mick's sexual decency.
Lotsa rumours and such doing the rounds. Canny really see any SPL clubs going bust this season - they were quite prepared to take the Div1 gamble and do without the revenue for this season. All sorts of stuff getting said now that the SFL refused to be bullied and said "**** ye's". The best one is still the re-invitation to the SPL. That one started before the SFL vote on Friday.
Gambol, you are away off course. A bigot like you should have followed your group to SFL3. The most likely club to go bust this season is the club with no name and no money who are playing in SFL3 , which as you know is the bottom of the **** pile. **** finds its own level eventually.
