Just saw yet another 'twitter' rumour that Ryo Miyaichi may be coming on loan from Arsenal. Not sure about it myself, plenty of potential but didn't set the word alight at Bolton last season. Also he doesnt seem to have many defensive qualities. Although he could be worth a go on loan. We do need another winger or 2, could he be one of them?
its total bollocks and yet another rumour started by the brilliantly named yet always believed 'fake rumours'
I work with a couple of Gooners who absolutely rave about him and reckon he's going to be the business. Don't see why it would be the most ridiculous deal in the world to be honest
Whilst I'm still doubtful this will happen, there are increasing rumours that this deal is going to happen. Reports from Japan now. http://www.sanspo.com/soccer/news/20120715/pre12071505040001-n1.html Apparently he was left out of Arsenal's squad over the weekend.
its quite a common story in japanese media actually i came here to start a thread on this. Hes a good player but tends to hug the wing too often making him to predictable and relies on stepovers (the best i've seen though!) too much. Great attitude though and very raw. This is the best video i could find on him though it makes him look better than he is like all videos but shows his potential. Do you guys need an out and out winger? (he can play both sides) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZihog4CdV4&list=FLUzzZ0Wgo8McnEEwI6GPnPA&index=3&feature=plpp_video
I have seen there's more and more people saying that its going to happen, and people saying that the japan press our saying he will be moving but I personally don't see it happening, would be a good signing though to cover the wings for us. I remember hearing last season that there was loads of Japanese press at his debut cause they absolutely rave about him in there part of the world!
i too have heard these rumours gain in momentum. i have also heard that it is still make believe. was starting to wonder whether fiction may turn into non-fiction!
Just seen this on twitter "Just been told that Miyaichi will NOT be going on Asian tour with Arsenal. Something is happening - but not sure what."
I was just on my way to say this! From what I understand, he's exciting and has some quality and can play both wings. Should he end up here, it might be an inspired signing as cover for both Pilks and Benno! Particularly as everyone seems to think we will use the wingers a lot more, we will almost certainly need some cover.
The first thing my gooner mate from work said to me this morning was that Miyachi is on his way to Carrow Road and I have no reason to disbelieve him. Perhaps this will turn out like your other predictions from this summer about Lambert absolutely no way going to Villa and Holt virtually already out the door Supers
err, this was not a prediction! this was a rumour which started from a website called 'fake rumours'! would you believe that? my thoughts on lambert were a total guess, just like everyones whilst i was told by many people that holt would leave because the club wouldn't give him what he wanted. we have hughton to thank for sorting that out.
Joking aside, even though it doesn't mean much I would rather be linked to players like miyaichi and Anita than the likes of Nile "the thug" ranger
