The magistrate says the case against John Terry continues and that there is a case to answer. Terry is now in witness stand to give evidence. Terry must have thought he'd won it.
I like this. It could be a bit of bullshit, but it looks like he has some sense of the club's pride and he wants to be part of that rather than an itinerant "professional" just doing the job he's paid for.
I just put this on the 'Ah Jesus {facepalm}' thread: Is it me or does this remind you of kinda garden...? NB: this is not the exact dialogue On top of that, what is going to be achieved by this court case anyway? John Terry earns £150k per week and the maximum penalty he could receive is a £2,500 fine. that's a bit like putting Hitler on the naughty step
John Terry racism trial: Ashley Cole claims case should never have come to court, as Chelsea star gives evidence Ashley Cole has admitted he did not hear what Anton Ferdinand said to John Terry in the exchange that led to the Chelsea captain being put on trial. This old bastard should be thrown into jail until his skeletal remains rot as a warning to Blatter and others others that bribery wont be tolerated. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18804464

Adam was at it too claiming that we can play better, without even mentioning the words "as long as I don't play" in there.
i think to sum up talk is cheap action is what counts. frankly the "action" starts in the us and should be build on all year long. work hard biatches is the message back to our players. I think this year ought to be the year of the "anfield crowd savages lazy players" headlines. If we see us lose playing as well as we can we can applaud, if we see our team lose or draw cos players didn't bother we should be savage,
Least Gerrard learn't to shut up / say the right things after stupidly talking up our chances in the past. Carragher speaks out a lot but again, at least he talks sense Joe Cole speaks out every bloody year and it is the simple 'we are going to do well' type comments every time too. Adam's not much better. Some players just don't know how to keep quiet
