I'm not claiming that I've seen him in hundreds of games, that 'plenty' was misleading really. He's a tidy player I grant you, I'm just not convinced he's top of the PL level. If he were Chelsea probably wouldn't have loaned him out then sold him.
Personally I think you lot would be better off keeping Caroll but Rodgers doesn't seem to like the look of him.

I admit I know little about these players. But Brenda is so highly rated and knows these players well. So will just trust he judgement that he has clearly seen something he likes in these players.

To be fair Ruffian there's plenty of examples of top players getting let go as young players go only for them to bounce back and turn into top players later on.

 

And many don't.

Look, it's not like I said he's ****, he'll never make it blah blah, I just said in my opinion he's not quite up to the grade and was only said to Baz who comes on here making huge sweeping statements about players he's never seen play.

That's all. Borini might well have kicked on in Serie A. His goal record isn't great over there but I haven't seen him play since the play off final v Reading last spring.

I went to my eldest daughter's graduation last Friday afternoon. In addition to first class honours in History, she was the recipient of the Head of Department's prize for most distinguished student of her year. She's fit and a good crack too. At least I did two things right in my life.
