I wouldn't like this one. Cudicini is getting old and it would pretty much make Loach leave. I would still like to give Loach one more season to prove himself...... and if not then I'd like to see someone come in for the future, not just one year.

While I don't entirely disagree with you Lux, as I also think Scott could still come good, Bond is highly rated and is he therefore not the one for the future? Maybe having an older experienced keeper will allow Bond to come through?

Not sure on this one. I dont think SL will be leaving as there has been no apparent interest so why bring in an old keeper??

Depending on his wage, I'd happily bring him in. I think we rely on Scott too much so think it would be good thing to have competition for the No.1 shirt. With Rene gone, we don't have a back up (Bond will be a good keeper, but too early, IMO), so as long as neither has too big an ego, let them both fight for the shirt and prove themself to be the Watford No.1... Mayeb this would be the making of SL, finally!

I would welcome this signing, at 38 yes he is old but could have another two seasons in him, remember Van de Sar didn't retire until he was gone 40. His experience could be valuable to our younger keepers too.

I'm disgusted that we still haven't acted on the "dead cert" rumours that we were signing Kaka and Pelé a few years ago.

Ever since our takeover the rumour mill really has been in full flow, which I suppose is better then tumbleweed! Doubt this will happen, surely Cudicini would command too high a wage?

The goalkeeping situation is a tough one. We have Loach, who I still think has the promise to be a great goalkeeper, but the Pozzi's will probably not see it that way. Bond is currently our No.2, but unless he shows a lot of promise with the way the ownership has changed I can see a lot of youngsters leaving, thinking of Thompson, Bennett, Wichelow, Massey, Assombalonga, Bond if they can't get near the first team soon. I reckon we may sign a new keeper, though weather it would be a No. 1 or No. 2 Im not sure. I don't think it will be Cudicini either way

I heard that it would be a loan move and we would only part pay his wages. Not sure it will happen though as I'm sure Spurs need him as back up.
