THESE ARE MY OPINIONS ON WHERE PEOPLE FINISH

    1) Manchester United (With their new signings and best manager ever, they'll reclaim their top spot - questionable if they should have lost it as I do still suspect a little QPR - city match fix...)

    2) Manchester City (Will get complacent but the silly amount of money they spent will still see them second)

    3) Chelsea (Good signings will see an improvement on last year - Matteo will still be sacked though. Will be happy to win the battle of the London superpowers between them and Spurs and be top placed London Club but annoyed not challenging the Mancs)

    4) Spurs (Similar to last year, think AVB will prove some people wrong)

    5) Arsenal (Finally will drop out of CL but 5th is still decent for them. Punching above their weight and give hope to all other smaller clubs in London)

    6) Everton (Decent season, decent manager, decent players. Nothing more, nothing less)

    7) Newcastle (Another good season if they hold on to players, fans will no doubt still moan though )

    8) Liverpool (Overrated manager, overrated players, overrated, vile club. Nuff said)

    9) Stoke (urgh, unfortunately, cheating tactics will give them advantage over rivals so will stay up comfortably)

    10) Villa inspired by Lambo (Second best manager in prem but even he wont be able to take these average players any higher)

    11) Sunderland (Excellent manager, lovely club, fantastic fans but not convinced by squad. Mid table mediocrity)

    12) West Ham (think they'll do Ok, experienced boring manager and some good players. Big Sam knows how to keep teams in prem)

    13) QPR (Making some good signings and top manager. Big worry that they will end up as the next Leeds/Pompey though...)

    14) Fulham (Again making some decent signings, good manager)

    15) Norwich (Will be happy with this. class club with the best fans in England.)

    16) Swansea (Second season syndrome but I think they'll just about be OK)

    17) Southampton (Think they'll JUST scrape by. Worried by squad a little though.)

    18) West Brom (Think they'll struggle without Woy and will be the suprise strugglers)

    19) Wigan (Been saying it for years and they keep proving me wrong but this year I think they'll fall, losing more good players)

    20) Reading (Think they'll fight bravely but lack the talent, plus they are a dull club)

Looking at that its clear that everyone below Newcastle in 7th are pretty poor. Weak, weak premier league which gives us a great chance of surviving!

    Switch 1 with 3 and you're on a winner.

So many people see Chelsea as possible title winners but I really can't see why.

Chelsea fans are the new Liverpool fans.

Dreaming of the title when they'll be lucky to finish third.

Think you are pretty spot on with most of these predictions imo, maybe switch Stoke and Aston Villa around, maybe put Fulham a bit higher too, regardless of whether Dempsey stays they will be solid enough attacking with Petric/ Rodallega upfront with the possibility of Jordan Rhodes joining them.

Swap Spurs and Arsenal then move Reading a bit higher and i agree. I dont see Chelsea any higher than third.

I fear for Norwich (although Hughton is a good appointment), Swansea and WBA without their managers. At least one of them to drop.

Even i thought the description of Liverpool was a bit harsh! though i reckon you will come 7th, with Newcastle 6th and Everton 8th.

The title will be between Machester United and Man City with maybe Chelsea joining in on the challenge.

4th/5th will be Arsenal and Spurs i would say Arsenal to just edge purely because i think they have a better manager.

Will be easier to guess though once the transfer window is done.

Odd way to WUM to predict the team whose board you've put it on to be champions. Guess he knew you'd be reading ;) . His predictions for you are harsh though, i see you ending up 6th or atleast to take 7th ahead of Everton.

That said all Pre-Season predictions invariably turn out to be **** anyway and thats even after we know all of the signings.

Damn right we'd moan! Anything less than a Toon title push would be a disgrace! <grr>

I'm not complaining because he's harsh on Liverpool, I'm pretty pessimistic myself, it's just clearly an article made to wind people up.

Feel a little sorry for the genuine (or knowledgeable) United fans; the board is pretty quiet apart from this nonsense.

It's halfway through July for goodness sake. Stoke could sign Messi and Ronaldo on Tuesday for all we know.

    ... A WUM?

Just tired of people like this on football forums. Not important enough to my life as a whole to be 'wound up'; just tired.

Interesting choice of punctuation for someone calling someone else a 'moron'.

<laugh> Where are the mighty Norwich going to finish? If the local youth players did'nt all have webbed feet you might have won more over the year's.

Ah, I see. He's WUMing on the Utd board by saying:

    1. We're going to win the league next year
    2. We only finished second this year cos QPR rolled over for City in the last five mins
    3. Liverpool are ****

Damn that WUM. He's made me so angry with his wind up!!
