The flame is just boarding the Lymington-Yarmouth Ferry. Off to the Island. Ellen MacArthur will be carrying in Cowes.
Just seeing if I can post this so that you can see the LIVE video of the Torch Relay. If not, at least here's the link.

There was a bit of a media hoo-ha today as the Olympic Torch went out in Devon. The helpers were scurrying around in a mild panic, while the onlookers watched patiently. They then fetched one of the backup flames out of the following coach and lit a new torch before proceeding. So THE Olympic flame didn't go out, but AN Olympic Torch went out. Not that I care too much, but why must the media misreport..?
Went to see it in Lyndhurst this morning, very underwhelming,
But you went all the same.
You must log in or register to see imagesThis is the aircraft which will take the Flame to Le Tissier land today.
Are you allowed to smoke on a plane?
All I know is the pilot got flaming annoyed and it sparked an argument!
We estimated 100,000people saw it in Southampton not including he ground and the evening celebration at Mayflower. Will Pompey manage to equal that.
