The Inzaghi rumour is now on Sky Sports, suggesting he would be joing us or Atalanta! If true, think he may have 1 or 2 good seasons left him, then maybe help out on the coaching side of things too. Would certainly hlp the youngsters in the squad... and would think it would mark the end of Iwelumo and Garner.
http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2849132,00.html Another 5 games!! When will this end? They were supposed to be out last season, and then it was going to be ready for the coming one. GRRRRR
As long as they charge them a very good sum, I am not totally against this. The pitch will recover from a handful of games, and the money could mean an extra player! Will be interesting to see what the new Exec team do about this!
As a Watford fan I can live with five games over five months. Those matches will only cause a problem if they are poorly scheduled (football two days after rugby for instance) As someone who occasionally watches Saracens, I feel sorry for people who watch them week-in, week-out. Jokes about their traditional home attendances and recent glory hunting aside, there is a core of around 4-5,000 who have been season ticket holders for donkey's years. Wembley or Twickenham most people can live with, but they're playing a home game in Milton Keynes for goodness sake!
More interviews coming from the WO. Certainly designed to build a little confidence in the fans. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9814971.Duxbury_explains_why_the_Pozzos_bought_Watford/
Sorry for posting this here, couldn't think of a more appropriate place for it. Good to see that someone is giving Dyche the recognition he deserves. http://the4thofficial.co.uk/2012/07/13/top-10-unfair-managerial-dismissals/
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/9820738.Watford_consider_Mariappa_replacement/ Looks like we could be lining up Fitz Hall as a replacement for the outgoing Mariappa. Also the article suggests that Inzaghi will be at the training ground today to check the place out!
Hope he's got dinner booked at The Grove for the early evening. Borehamwood on a windy, rainy Tuesday night isn't going to increase our chances of signing him.
The fact that we haven't reported signing our ones on trial, suggests that we maybe waiting for clearance from the FA. I cannot think that they would still be here if we were not wanting to sign them.
I can see them all taking part tonight. Maybe they want to see them in a game or two to see how they fit in before confirming anything... or just waiting for international clearance!

Zola expects the 3 on trial to be here for the season; http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9823920.Loan_trio_expected_to_remain_for_the_season/
There is now a list of the coaching team on the official site. I do hope that Italian/English classes are being held during the day. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/WhosWho/0,,10400~1336094,00.html
Head of Rehabilitation: Giorgio Gasparini - I take it that Troy Deeney is being retained then. No mention of Ross Wilson - whatever happened to him?
Still on the official site, cannot quite see what his role will be now. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/WhosWho/0,,10400~2383115,00.html
A great interview here, just shows you what can be done when no one interferes behind the scenes. http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2853528,00.html
