If she's anything like my other half, she's probably too busy plotting your next 'accident' to offer sympathy. :)

Afternoon all. Its a nice day up here. The sun is out, but its rather mild. Not much to do today, just clear the room of the rest of my stuff and apply the finishing touches to my work for hand in tomorrow.

Blimey Al, that is one heck of a drive and removal job..don't envy you that at all.

Sun is still out and all on my own - Mrs W_Y is off visiting the outlaws, Little Miss W_Y is at Olympic Park filming and editing and #2 son has not reappeared from the MK Bowl from yesterday - by all counts Swedish House Mafia were top quality and the mud not too bad! I suspect him and #1 son went somewhere after to carry on partying!

I dont know if we can read anything into this, but i just noticed that GZ said he had left training early on the day of the press conference but this is untrue. The 1st team came out to do the bleep test at about 1:30 and finished at about 2:30. I was in the car park of the training ground when the players were all leaving and i left at about 3:00 to get home in time for the press conference and GZ was still in his training gear and walking about. Am i missing something or reading too much into this??

Tell me about it<yikes> Had to be done though;) she was amazed at the amount of stuff she still had up there, her story was that it would take her only about 2 metro trips<yikes> 2 FULL car loads later<laugh> So now all she has to do is sort her room out at her new digs when she goes back up in September ;) Her new digs are still being redecorated at the moment as well! But that as they say are her and friends issue, I can do most things but some things are out of my control;)

The latter I'd say - it was probably just a something he quickly made up to emphasise how long the journey took.

Or, as in most circles, leaving work at 3.00pm may be considered by him to be leaving early. In spite of what the public think, even us teachers don't get to do that. ;)

I think that he didn't want to admit to stopping off at the local chippy having told all the players about the wonders of pasta. ;)

Or the Italian bakers in Vicarage Rd OFH - I hope they get some more trade next season (as long as they save me a pasty)

A pasty sounds more Celtic that Italian (provided the join is on the side!).

Good morning everybody. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar.

I read in the rumours of Carlo Cudicini, why would we want a football player who is 38? I thought the Pozzos wanted youth.

Morning all, looks as if our summer is getting back on course again this week if the young lady on TV can be trusted. ;)

I feel happier about the interviews given by our new management than I would be with the hype coming out of Forest. Iconic manager, back in our rightful place. Really, just like kids with a new toy at Christmas, which if they don't look after it will soon break. :(

Thanks for the coffee ak, need to get on the go. <ok>

Morning all - just started raining in West West London. Been busy this morning, Mrs W_Y wanted a load of reports and reference materials printed off and I started to print the boarding cards for Cork next week but remembered I did not have the passport details for all 7 of us!
    Thanks for the frothy AK..

    Morning all

Chucking it down...again. Fortunately I managed to cut the grass yesterday. We're off to Glasgow for a few days so it would have been waist high on or return. Friends have advised us to take umbrellas, waterproofs and warm clothes. Does this mean we could get an unexpected heatwave?
