He was worth it even if only for the deafening silence in the Boelyn ground in the 92nd minute of the first game of the season. They'd been gobbing off so much about how it was going to be easy, like a lot of others who come down into the cauldren, shutting them up was proceless!

Sorry to see him go as he had an element of class which will be hard to replace - pity it deserted him in front of goal though. Perhaps he can show the way for Earnie to find his way out.
if the reports are true then i wish him all the best. a real 100%er and great build up play, far better than his stats in the past season suggest IMO.. lacked confidence in the second half of the season but kept plugging away, and as a fan thats all you can ask for.......
Wow....bit of a shock that one guys.....were there "rumblings" about it or was it completely out of the blue (or red!)? Always thought he was a top striker myself...worked hard and always seemed to give 100% from the little I know about him. Is there talk of a replacement?
CCR There were rumblings of a training ground dispute with Malky recently but as it had gone quiet I thought it was no more than that. For a replacement we have signed on a 4 year contract a 22 year old Slovenian international with a good goal scoring record, Etien (surname begins with V and I haven't learnt that yet). Looks a good player with Europa Cup experience and an average of 1 goal every 3 games (every other game last season). If the media is correct it looks like we have a South Korean winger and Keogh from Coventry inbound plus, maybe, Bellamy back again. I wouldn't put money on the last one though. Out going? Gerrard to you? Earnie to Cov as part of Keogh deal or possibly USA? Keinan, don't know where but would be good for you and Taiwo, anywhere just get rid.
Hi Blue....yes I read somewhere you had a new forward inbound from europe...seems a decent record as well so good luck with him mate. The Keogh saga is still going on with our various forums, the fave rumour being keogh is our number one target with Gerrard as plan B so we will wait to see what happens there. We are still on the lookout for a keeper as well with Boaz Myhill being touted as a likely candidate but I am not sure that has anything more than BS about it! One other for us is Albert Adomah going to the Jacks with cash plus Dobie comeing our way.....that IS a load of BS as he is no-where near worth that amount, but if they want to pay silly money then carry on!
