I know, it's ridiculous. These idiots are using any excuse to have a pop. Just because he was wearing a kit.

Yes. Players not involved in the match wearing an entire football kit underneath their suit and running onto the field in aforementioned kit is ridiculous to me.

Weren't they told to wear kits anyway? He's our captain and was an integral part of our success, he can celebrate how the **** he wants imo. I can see why people may laugh at the kit but it's not as bad as some people make out.

Must we go round in circles? No-one cares if less high-profile players do it, particularly if they stay on the periphery, though it's still lacking class. If the suspended captain does it and tries to be in the middle of it in some sort of attempt to hoodwink people he was key to the win in future, he's always going to get mocked. It's not anti-Chelsea or even anti-Terry, it's just a very dislikable guy that so often does something to attract criticism doing another thing which attracts criticism.

Terry was key to the win, didn't he play in every other match? The celebrations were for the whole tournament, not just one game.

I never said it was anti-Chelsea but it is anti-Terry.
Anyway, back on thread. Rio is a tosser.

Yes Drogs,UEFA said they had to wear their kits.
Unfortunately little things like the truth don't matter to loser posters like Watford R. Lets face it,who is going to pick up the CL Trophy is not something his sad little team will ever have to worry about.

That's the first I've heard of UEFA ordering non-playing squad members to wear the full kit. Seems odd to me and apologies if true, much as I doubt it is.

I'm not sure what my team has to do with it. If I supported Liverpool, United or Forest I'd have found it equally tacky.

I really don't care whether you've ever heard of it. I really don't care if you think it's true.
Time and time again you come across as a sad bitter little man who thinks he's in some way superior but all you really are is a little sad lad with a big chip on your shoulder.

Now,move along. I'm sure you have much more important things to discuss on the QPR board. Like why you have lower attendances than Wigan.

See Rio has dropped himself in the poo with a stupid comment on Twatter. Called Ash a choc ice apparently. The Mancs on the manc board are brushing it off as stupid but not racial.
    How opinions change!

There is a campaign by Liverpool fans to get him thrown off twitter now. They are all complaining that he's being racist. I don't think he has been but he has endorsed the comments of someone else who was being racist. Same thing? Maybe.

What is being insinuated is that Ash should have given evidence against JT bcause he is white. Sounds quite bad to me.

It is but Rio didn't actually say it and now he's just too stupid to realize that he should just shut his face.
What this is doing though is deflecting from the fact Rio encouraged his brother to peruse this in a sad pathetic attempt to get at JT for being given the Captaincy. Rio used his own brother he did not support him.

He didn't say it but he agreed with it. As you say, he used his brother for his own selfish reasons. Tosser!

Very childish and embarrassing from Rio.Agree with a lot people on here saying he should of kept his nose out of it.
Ashley Cole's reputation has gone up in my estimation.Don't know the guy but never really had much time for him,but he's handled the whole situation very well.<ok>

I don't think I'm the one with the chip. As I said, if it was dictated by Uefa then I'm in the wrong but it's been debated ad nauseum on here and elsewhere and it's the first I've seen of it.

This thing about Uefa dictats and suits - did they tell him to wear his shinpads too? :emoticon-0102-bigsm

BTW, that Rio thing - he reckons it's not racist, so that's okay then? The FA will probably pander to him anyway, which is a pity. Many of us would dearly love to have seen Doreen Lawrence at his hearing.

FFS, the campaign to get to the truth over Stephen Lawrence was awe-inspiring and Doreen's role was dignified. Love to see the other three sh!tes go down, as well as the bent coppers who acquiesed in it all. Anton Ferdinand? Hardly Rosa fooking Parks, is he? One white, yob, overpaid, arrogant, sh!tbag against a black, overpaid, yob, arrogant sh!tbag. She should have turned up to this if she wants to keep up the honourable fight against racism.
