Guly signs new contract

Guly has signed an extension until 2014. Shows how rated he is by Adkins. Good news. I think he will flourish in PL.

 

Think he'll be big for us this season. Need players who can do things differently.

He was the best player in the game against Anderlecht.

Really pleased about this contract extension for of all our players I think he is the one that will do well in the PL.

 

funny as i actually asked my mate at st marys yesterday how long was left on gulys contract. Great news as I feel more suited to the Prem that championship or league 1.

 

I like this thread. Everyone talks a great deal of sense.

 

Guly should be able to get more time on the ball in the PL which will suit his style of play. I will be intrigued by how Lambert and Sharpe cope as I think this will be a big step up for both of them even though Lambert has proved that his game improves as Saints ascend the leagues.

Very pleased with the news, although I hope he isn't on his second half of last season form and more first half of last season !

 

All the players will be kept on their toes this season with a bit more competition. No coasters allowed in the PL.

Loved the two pictures of the managers at the game last night posted in the Mail. Big beaming Adkins and sour faced Arsene with the title..Cheer up it's only a friendly! I think the Arsene picture must be the one Nigel keeps in his attic.

Delighted for Guly and the club. Didn't know he was a smoker though. An image just flashed into my mind from a cover of The Beautiful South fanzine. There was a photo of an athletic looking black guy smoking a huge reefer, above a caption referring to Augustin Delgado.

 

Unsurprisingly there are a bunch of tools on Twitter complaining about this.

 

Pleased with this. Gully is a good player and I still think Nigel will play him RM if we don't sign a new one. His athleticism will be good in the premier league.
