Just sharing a little bit of info for one tomorrow in the form of EASTER LAD 4.10 Southwell 10-1. The Best yard picked this one up at Ascot sales for £4,600 and I understand that they are looking for a quick return. It's had the Best Intensive Training Programme and will be fitter than it has ever been before. For good measure they have the blinkers on secured the services of Tom Scudamore. Fingers crossed that all goes according to plan!
5.35 Fairyhouse - CHICAGO 5/2 Btw not my fav way of betting but I have opened a betdaq account and as I am struggling atm with picking a winner going to try getting a few beat. Unaminous 4.05 @ 3.00 Blue Corner 4.35 @ 1.56 Take Out The Pin 5.55 @1.91
Ballyhaunis (Pat Smullen) runs in the 1m 4f handicap. He should handle the ground and the trip and we are hoping for a bold show Passage Vendome (Emmet Mullins) reverts to 2 miles in the novice hurdle. He was second over 3 miles at Kilbeggan last time but he will be much more at home over this trip. He has every chance if he handles this real soft ground. Zuzka (Ruby) goes for the 2m 2f mares maiden hurdle. She won two bumpers but as a result has to give weight away here. She was third at Gowran on her first run over hurdles and, with that experience; we are hoping she will go close today. Mr Carson (Patrick) runs in the bumper over 2m 2f. He seems in good form at home but, on pedigree, may not be suited by this unseasonal ground. However, we are expecting him to show improvement here and that could see him involved Sunday Lucky 15 from the old dog willie stay frosty
Pulled as they didnt fancy taking on the favourite. RV, BOLIVIA went over backwards at the start yesterday so was in no condition to race. Slightly highly strung!
SLADE POWER - (Fairyhouse, 15:05) 100/30 Useful, progressive type who usually finds plenty under pressure, as he did at Haydock last time when seeing off Es Que Love by a neck in 6f listed contest. Has to be taken seriously here JOB DONE!!
Stick - at least she will be ok mate. Boris still recovering from your lay of the century yesterday ?? BOOOOOOOOOOM IMPERIAL MONARCH
Saw it when i got up this morning.....definitely made this hangover feel a hell of a lot better! Im officially done with the flat season now, decided there is no point, may as well just back the rank outsider in each race, will probably get you a decent profit at the moment! Im glad some proper jumps racing is on show today and i like the chances of Robbie 3.40 Southwell Got off the mark last time with a battling performance. The runner up that day has since won by 10 lengths to frank the form and i think robbie could be well treated today back in handicap company. It is a tough race with a few horses that could conceivably be ahead of the handicapper but ill side with Robbie to get the job done!
I really like the look of SNOWED IN 3-1 in Stratfords juvenile hurdle today. It was by far the best of these on the flat and has joined a yard very adept at training them to go jumping.
Otto Quercus 14.10 at Southwell not Stratford as i text out, (numpty) Shoul be very close im told stay frosty
I survived the stag. Cheers for the selections lads. I didn't back a winner but did land a proper gamble on John Louis in the 5.05 at Newmarket which made the day. Today I'm heavy on Smalib Monterg in the 3.20 at Stratford and have backed Dorset Naga in the first at Stratford.
Honestly dont blame them for doing that, i mean, would you want to race a potential classic winner on ground like it is at the moment?!
Get to bed Quel Brough agreed - wasn't really thinking about the ground when making the comment. It is fooking July- saying that nice and warm in Newcastle today - going to make the most of it.
