Our bench were celebrating before City's winning goal as they knew we'd done enough. If we needed to draw that game we would have done. As it was, half the team had stopped playing. No luck needed.

As a Royals fan I'm actually quite surprised more of you didn't actually say Reading, but I'm grateful for our near 'absence' from the lists. You're welcome to try our new Table Positions Game for 2012-13 if you want to have a bit of fun:

Oh yeah because City wouldn't have wanted to win the title right? <doh> A Stoke dive for a Penalty saved QPR. You were lucky.

Yep that's exactly what I'm saying. You plum.

We would have needed to hold out for about a minute with the ball. If we really needed to hang on we could have passed it all the way back to Kenny and then lumped it into the corner. As it was, it wasn't necessary and other than personal pride there wasn't a reason to be putting bodies on the line as they had done so well for the first 93 minutes, making it far, far easier for City to score.

Bolton also scored two of the luckiest goals of the season in that game to even be in with a sniff, which is conveniently forgotten.

For me, Wigan (as ever) look weak. They've lost some key players (Moses, Rodellega, Diame) and I just can't see them doing it again. But I say that every year.

Any of the following could go with them: QPR, Swansea, Norwich, Southampton, Reading, West Ham, Stoke, Aston Villa and Fulham. I'm going to go with Reading and Swansea, but it really is guess work at this stage of the season and almost not worth predicting.

...Based on the second half of last season I quite fancy Liverpool to struggle

I think Wigan will struggle again and this time won't manage to save themselves. West Ham and Southampton I think will join them for the drop.

I really don't think QPR will be far off again this season. Too much overhaul too quickly.Literally feels like **** or bust.

Dont be too disaiponted if it does not happen your way. Last season was last season and our team with new signings like Green, Hoilett, Park, Fabio and possibly new CB (Samba) will be a different story. We also signed Diakite for four years, Faurlin will be back and our team have now width after Nelsen and Andy Johnson come to Loftus Road. I think nobody cant denie that Mark Hughes is a very good manager and now he have the players he want. Now, unlike last season, he has the time on his side too.

Did I ever say that was the way I wanted it...? I'm saying I think you have overhauled your squad too much and I see nothing in your reply but evidence of exactly that. It will take time to gel with all these new players, I'd arguably say West Ham had a better squad when they went down. Signing big names gives no assurances.

Well, maybe if you read carefully what i wrote you maybe understand why i believe we do much better on future season. Last season our team was a mixture of league one players, championship players and few premiership players. Our preparation for last season in the summer 2011 was a joke due ecclestone&briatore. Ownership change happened in late august . Few emergency signings in a hurry were all we had time to do. Manager change in january was only thing to left to do. Our keeper (Kenny)was maybe the worst in the league and our best player till januray (Faurlin) get injured. Have anyone consired those things in last season and compare that to our team ready for future season? For me it certainly look lot better than in the same time last year.

I reckon Norwich, Swansea are going to struggle and then it's hard to tell. You'd expect QPR to be ok now that they've bought a load of decentish players and Reading and Southampton look like they might have some momentum. Maybe this will be the season Wigan finally go down...
