Has anyone else had enough of this **** weather?

On a footballing point of view does anyone know if any work is being done on our pitch. If it carries on raining I think the pitch down by the R block will be ****.

Feck ye Twins. Yis are a law unto yourselves up there!

Didn't our pitch have extensive work done to it a couple of seasons ago? Hows the drainage been since?

Every feckin time I take the dog out for a walk, the heavens open - and it's not just rain, it's a monsoon every time. Haven't sat outside in weeks. Never known a summer like it.

Having said that, walking in the rain can be a wonderful thing when you're dressed for it and get beyond caring.

I'm off to Paphos in Cyprus for two weeks on Wednesday. Hopefully nice and sunny there. Anyone else on a rain avoidance scheme before the start of the new season?

Cheers Swords, I'll try to but it's not the missus it's the the cost of those data charges that feck you up. Nigh on cost me £80 quid to log onto here and a few of my other ( a-hem ) favourite sites on last years Med-Cruise. :emoticon-0138-think

If you're staying in an apartment they're bound to have wifi in the complex.

Just got back from a fortnight in Spain and got the code from the caretaker; no need to worry about charges, google next day's trips etc; sorted!!

I'm off on a Med cruise in two weeks time, sod's law says it'll be a heatwave here by then...<doh>

It really has been the worst summer I can remember, been landscaping my garden for over three months a job which should have been done in one month at worst. I spent three hours wallowing in a muddy waterlogged herbaceous border this afternoon and the skies opened before I'd finished. A couple of drought-resistant plants I put in back in May have drowned! Well pissed off...<grr>

Off to Scotland next week for a couple of weeks

Not going to be great with a grumpy 15 year old son if the rain continues......or it'll cost me a fortune in shopping trips :cheesy:

And I decided a staycation would be good this year rather than going to the US or Canada again <grr>
