According to reports in several papers Terry AND Anton Ferdinand will be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. What has ferdinand done that the poison dwarf Evra hasn't? Infact, Rumpelstilskin even specifically, and racially, translated his insults (or "exclaimations", as the biased and bent FA panel explained them away) into Spanish - his third language - so as to be especially understood by Suarez (but not by any officials that may overhear their exchange). And when the question was fairly asked by both supporters and LFC as to why Evra himself was not in the dock, "Suarez didn't initially hear the insults" came the answer from the FA. Well, according to evidence tested in a PROPER court, neither did Ferdinand hear terry's insults, so surely there's no case for Terry to answer by the FA's precedents?

Only had time to read Des Kelly and James lawton so far. What utter hypocritical humbugs. Kelly decrying the CPS decision to prosecute in the first place (this is the fookwit who supported Luther Blissett's call for Suarez to be tried in a real court) and suggesting that as there are lower standards of evidence required in an FA kangaroo court Terry should have been tried there first anyway. The pr!ck actually rejoices in the fact that Suarez was 'executed' on the flimsiest of evidence with no right of appeal. As for Lawton, the windbag bemoans at length the standards of behaviour of footballers exposed in this case (fair enough) but forgets his strident tone in the aftermath of the Suarez case that LFC were bringing the game into disrepute by pointing out the aggrevating and inflammatory behaviour of Evra that caused the confrontation. Evra was a helpless victim according to Lawton.

He too is totally oblivious to the fact that back in January he was talking about the 'irrefutable evidence' that Suarez had called Evra 'Blackie, blackie, blackie' for at least seven times (even evra didn't initially claim that) yet maintains that Terry was cleared as "the drift of evidence from the Westminister court always suggested he would" - evidence that was patently more substantial than that which was presented to the FA 'independent' tribunal.

Bottom line is, if Anton Ferdinand is charged with anything, then surely Evra must be retrospectively charged too? And what of Rio X (and Clark fooking Carlisle for that matter)? Surely there must be charges of contempt of court for the Twitter activities of Ferdinand and questions as to why a senior figure of the PFA is prejudging the sanctions to be applied to Terry by his club yet is silent on the insulting behaviour that any of his black members may display.

They, and the FA and the media, need to say now that the much heralded anti-racism campaigns are strictly limited to white on black allegations, and that whole system if falling to pieces under the mass of contradictions and blind-eyes inherent in the well-intentioned but appalling biased administering of the actual 'cases'. And NONE of this is furthering the actual progress of race relations in the sport or the country at large, as John barnes so eloquently and firmly avered all those months ago over the Suarez case.

    it stinks.

Looks like United are in for Leighton Baines? The end of Evra's United career? Suarez will go on to become an LFC legend.

    Karma serves the correct justice.

Why are we even bothering to discuss the Terry issue. Whatever the FA decide to do or not do will not give Suarez back the 8 games he lost last season, will not stop supporters of other teams sing factually incorrect songs, will not compensate LFC for the points that we may have lost due to Suarez's absence. The FA will act as it always does -purely in terms of self-interest.

Let's just get on and face the new season with as much conviction as we can. We know the FA don't like us. We know that large parts of the media don't like us. But we can flourish by our own efforts despite them.

All true Dave. I just can't let g o, and when it happened I vowed I'd never let up on the press and the FA and I'd throw back their biased, bent mechanations in their faces. are they bothered? No, they're fookin' shameless, but that won't stop me.

    thanks for listening.

the only thing that matters is you can go on youtube as a free mind and see terry mouthing, you can see evra mouthing but you can only see suarez pinching evra like a litle kid.

The truth is out there.... no matter that the english establishment wants you to believe (ie johnny foreigner is evil and johnny english is a saint)

Now fully expect the fa to bursh this under a carpet quick and terry will never have any sanction at all....

I'm seriously hoping that this happens, not because I have any affection for Terry (@rsehole) nor any wish to see the true cause of racial harmony set back at all. But, after the despicable Suarez case where the assumption of innocence until proven guilty and the methodology of reasonable doubt were set aside in the rush to provide a head-on-a-stick, I wnat they ouside world to see the FA and the english press for the bent and hypocritical sleazebags that they are. There's no hope of convincing the peasants within these shores that, as they have a vested interest in the show trials and finger pointing in kidding themselves that they're oh so anti-racist and it's all the fault, as you say, of Jonny Foreigner.

I still forlornly hope that FIFA or Uefa will sooner-or-later have the balls to step in and say "Whoa, will you stop victimising foreigners in your quest to prove how anti-racist you are". That and fatty Samuel of the Mail one day explodes whilst overeating like Don Creosote. :cheesy:

With Fergie in for Baines it certainly looks like , Fergie believes Mr Evra was less than honest in the Suarez case.Funny that after telling us to get rid of Suarez it appears to be Fergie who wants to replace Evra first, were we appear to be desperate to keep Luis and offer him a new contract

  8. The Suarez v Evra case has **** all to do with Fergie trying to get Baines. Man Utd fans were questioning Evra's contribution before last season even started!

These are the sort of comments that make us Liverpool fans look silly <ok>

    Darko,

I'm not arguing about your right to continue your campaign. I suppose that what I'm trying to say is that no matter how legally, technically and morally right our arguments were in the Suarez case, the forces drawn against us were just too strong and the battle was lost. BUT a battle is not a war and there are other ways for the war to be won.

For me that war will be won when we are recognised as a great football team and Suarez as one of the best players in the league. If you like to let our performances do the talking and thereby rub it in the faces of our opponents.

Having now had some time to consider the issues, I'm not sure that I want to continue to fight the racism issue as it's just too confused and there are too many vested interests. I'm not sure that I want to fight against the shenanigans of the FA becuase even if you sort them out, you've then got UEFA and then FIFA. On top of that I'm trying to resist the Scouse predilection to continue to fight for lost causes. So I'm going to trying and focus all my energies on supporting LFC in this coming season.

However good luck with your campaign.

And talking of the FA and their double standards (and the PFA for that matter) what are they going to do about this?

    https://twitter.com/coolandbreezy/status/224122378639261696/photo/1

Surely even Clark Carlisle can't hide from this one. Or, as has been said, is racism just a white on black thing? When one black player racially abuses another, that's okay then?

Let's see what lardarse Samuel, pisshead lawton and Smug Kelly have to say on the matter too. Doubtless Samuel will revive his "Chris Rock" defence of Evra's youTube antics: "It's okay for black folk to racially abuse each other and use the 'n' word, even if they said on oath to the FA panel that the reason they changed what they called three times in evidence was that they couldn't bear to utter the said 'n' word".

    Sh!thouses.

    +1 <ok>

The Suarez episode whether we like it or not has been one of the darkest in our history. Most fans do not want to go through that again. I certainly don't. We all accept that everyone could/ should have dealt with this sorry episode better. And it contributed to the owners loss of confidence in Kenny's management ability. I just wish that some people can see the wood for the trees. I am not going to wish someone good luck when I know that the "campaign" could be potentially damaging to the club.

We have NOTHING to gain and everything to lose by reopening this old wound. Let's move on and look forward to a successful new chapter under Brendan.

You are obsessed mate and you have to learn to let go. The club, the management the players and the fans have nothing to gain by going there again. Let's unite in looking forward to the new season.

Okay, my last word for now then.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...d-accused-row-Twitter-attack-Ashley-Cole.html

So cole is making no complaint. But wasn't the argument over Terry that it didn't matter if Anto ferdinand heard the racist taunts or wanted to complain, the fact they were made in the public domain meant that anyone who saw them may be offended. So let's see the Carlisle's, FA's, Blissett's, the fooking Sunday Supplement shights be consistent on that one.

I'll leave it at that for now, recognising that I am obsessed, but that doesn't mean I'm not right.

Rio Ferdinand has stoked up the furore by endorsing a tweet calling Ashley Cole a 'Choc Ice' - brown on the outside, white on the inside - for supporting John Terry.

I think Rio is forgetting his own mum is white. Does that make her a '99'?.

I've sat on the fence throughout because I don't have enough evidence to push my own thoughts on the matter, however I will never second guess someone that has the conviction to push something to the end of what they believe.

Garth Crooks wants Terry to be done by the FA for bringing the game into disrepute(a far lesser charge than making racist remarks)even though he said this.

"By Terry's own admission he accepts the words "****ing black ****" were said. His lawyers successfully argued that the manner in which this was said was misunderstood. But I believe it was wrong of him to say these words under any circumstances – and though Terry has been found not to have committed a criminal offence, the FA must now decide whether the former England captain should be charged for contravening its own rules."

I would sooner Terry wasn't charged at all by the FA unless its for the same charges Suarez faced.

the FA have a difficult situation as clearly they really want to do nothing as the stripping of england captaincy in thier view is enough.... yet we see rio believing the fa are backing terry by dropping him... its all pure poison.

if the FA hit terry with a 4 match ban on the smae charge as suarez and state it was not "aggrevated" then i think they could draw a line under it. make no bones about it its never getting a 110 page report and i think giving terry 3 matches for shaming the game or 4 for making offensive comments is a minor distinction in terms of ban but massive in terms of message.... all in all i can see terry doing big interviews very shortly and being wrapped in the union jack by the press.

the good thing i see is you've got people like rio who's got clear moral issues of his won looking bad, terry looking bad and the reall thing to state is all footballers are just scum who've low morals cos finding a decent one is hard to do.

    <laugh>

thats funny cos he was very silent when a spanish speaking man was chased by a team mate of rios who call his opponent's sister names in spanish until he may or may not have said something back using the spanish word for balck.

its interesting cos if I, who may not be one of the many rio refers too, called someone what rio called cole i can absolutely promise you that rio would be the first to call me a racist. <laugh> just who are these many?

I read that twitter thing when poster here and didn't reply on it as i thought is was shabby and low and needed no comment but it seems that rio can't see that he is in fact exactly what i said about him, terry and the res tof the so called english elite.

giggs, rooney, terry, rio himself, cole, even gerrard... back in the 90s it was gascoigne and we all looked on with distain but he got away with it.... Carroll punched a women... downing is a cheat, the list goes on.

In fact it seems you can count on one hand the players who are decent family men any more. Glen johnson, carragher, scholes....

  20. You only have to go back a year and you would have had Giggs on that list too.
