Morning all, Hoping for better weather today after yesterdays washout. The sun finally came out at 9.30 pm then went to bed shortly after. Much brighter with some blue sky, but some showers forecast, so might get a bit done with luck, otherwise an afternoon watching the Tour de France. Four British stage winners so far, and Wiggins has a firm grip on the yellow jersey.
Morning all Just had another downpour...precisely at the moment I left the car for the paper shop. Now reading about some sort of trial which, whatever the verdict, presents a clear picture of some pretty obnoxious characters. Didn't realise Jamie Moralee was advising one of them...perhaps that affected the result?
afternoon all...i can't remember a time i've been quite so busy...i get a minute to sit down every 24 days it seems! lol...just off out again in a min, taking my poorly friend out for a girlie laugh hopefully...something to take our minds off the problems that have reared their ugly head...and taking advantage of the fact that Mr H is at Hyde Park watching Bruce Springstein and praying for dry weather! Will hopefully catch up later i can't see us being out too long...she runs out of energy quickly... laters taters...
Last time I went to Milan I found myself driving round the bypass. Coming to a large roundabout I discovered that it had just been resurfaced and there were no road markings anywhere. I guess that it normally had six lanes around it, but the cars that day were going round it in streams of ten lanes. There were six exits from the roundabout and people would see the one that they wanted and just cut across all of the circulating traffic. They say that the Boulevard Périphérique around Paris is bad, but compared with Milan it is childs play.
Good news for the lad, I wish him well. http://www.nuneatontownfc.com/news/tom-james-signs-619637.html
I hope that this works out for him and in a few years he makes a big name for himself there and gets another move, this time up the league.
Had exactly the same experience myself, Frenchie, in Palermo...hoping that no-one I'd just cut up had any Mafia connections...
Evening all. Its been a busy day today, in fact a busy couple of days. I have been doing my re-sit assignments as i referred on the original ones. But its nearly over now.
she enjoyed it...it's just good for her to keep busy at the moment, so that she doesn't spend too much time thinking. She hasn't got a start date yet for the chemo...when things start happening i think she'll find it easier to cope...maybe...she's just not good at coping with not being able to control things, this is going to be very tough for her... that's great news good to see you're almost out the other side Dan
Right off to bed to nurse my wounded head. Ever seen the cartoon of someone standing on a rake that comes back to hit them? Tonight I have a forehead with a lump the size of a quails egg on it and so far sympathy from a certain person is zero.
ooh M Frenchie! I hope that heals quickly, poor you, that's painful..bit of a throbber! ...sweet dreams
lol...poor M Frenchie, not only in pain, but not getting sympathy from the right quarters...that hurts doubly!
Morning all- the sun is out in bandit country! Watch out for banana skins OFH - another comedy classic!
