It all depends if we finish on page 1 or 2 of the table.

Sorry OCA, but I find this post a bit hypocritical. I have read many a post from you rubbishing some of the team. You admit yourself that you are no fan of Jordan Henderson and have written some scathing remarks about him. Even today, you are doubting the ability of Mig to face Brum at the weekend, you state that Bardsley is not a very good defender and that Angeleri is no good. You also have no time for Zenden, so to tell us to stop being critical of the players is a bit rich marra!

Last week, I wrote on here that Bruce had been very unlucky. Bramble and Turner were both seriously injured within a few games of each other. What looked like one of the best strike partnerships in the EPL never got a chance to gell (Asamoah didn't come on stream till October and Darren was injured soon afterwards, etc.) I think I made out a decent case for Bruce - in footballing terms.

But I also wrote on Sunday "Get your bloody coat, Bruce, NOW!" And I'll tell you why. Because what I'm seeing on that field now is not a footballing problem. It doesn't matter a toss whether we cheer or boo them, because it doesn't look to me like they want to be there anyway. There's something changed, something not right within that club. And that is for the manager to sort out. He's simply not doing it.

I'm not pleased with other things I've seen either. In January, Bruce was saying Sess was a great signing because he could play on the left or the right. For weeks now, Gyan's been saying Muntari's best position is on the left. So what's wrong with playing the versatile one on the right and the lad who prefers the left on the left? Good god, fellas, does that take Einstein? We're just not seeing it.

Any half decent manager can look good with good players on the field who want to play together. And I agree, we all said how wonderful Bruce was at the time. But when things take a down-turn, I also expect a manager to work out some alternatives. If there's unrest in the club, I expect him to get people together and sort something out, etc. I'm seeing none of those things right now. I want Bruce out. He's bought well, I admit it. But the moment those players hit a bump in the road, he just has no answers. That's the bottom line for me.

I said more or less the same about Muntari the other day. I missed the England v Ghana game, but heard that he played a blinder out on the left flank. So I agree, why hasn't SB played him there?
