  1. Not sure, I know he played RF at Ajax and Cavani is the main attacker for Uruguay <ok>

Don't call big Andy the Gypo:emoticon-0116-evilg so Not sure if Brenda fancies him. We all know the plan is to win the ball back high up the pitch and then keep possesion, that's why I cant see Suarez playing out wide, not sure we want him with the ball at his feet to far back. Think his little mazy runs are best used near and in the box. I think we will see an improved Suarez this year, needs to improve his decision making at times. Great player though.

Just come off the 'phone to an English mate of mine who lives in Rome and goes to watch AS Roma every week He says we have the bargain of the century on our hands - on a par with Suarez. And he's a lifelong Bluenose so he didn't say it with any real pleasure. His view was that he's still a bit raw, but a raw talent nonetheless. He felt that Borini slipped through the Chelsea net, because they had too much talent already on the books at the time.

His nickname at Roma? The Killer.

(not sure about his post-goal celebration, with one arm under is chin and the other doing some form of Nazi salute - well weird...)

suarez is a world class right channel player.. world class.

rodgers seems to rate borini in everything he questioned carroll on so its going to be interesting to see him in action... I wonder if he will play right up top or on the left of a 3... or if rodgers wants a very fluid 3 that interchange.

If he's even close to being on a par with Suarez we have got a bargain <ok> as for his celebration let's hope he only bites himself and not other players <whistle>

  7. Any reason other than that's what the opposition call him...?

As MITO as said (although I don't agree with the World Class tag) Suarez's best position is from the right.

Maybe Rodgers will surprise us all and get another player that likes to play like these two...? maybe Ramirez or Affelay? Maybe he'll promote Sterling or use Downing further forward?

Nazi salute;) The Nazi and the racist upfront together. Ha ha, think the lad might have to change his celebration.

Yea, seems like a top player, the Jacks love him too.

  9. Can you imagine him and Suarez getting into a fight? It'd be like watching two Jack Russell's fight with their knashers...<laugh>

  10. I thought his celebration is a imitation of putting a knife in his mouth? An Italian sign of a warrior apparently?

Rodgers likes a midfield three with two holding players, a passmaster and a dominant midfielder (which we don't have, Nigel de Jong would be ok) and then a player in front of that, he refers to it as the Zola zone, perhaps this is where Suarez can play? Sure I read that Borini is for the right.

He also favours a powerful striker, he used Shearer in his premier 11. Carroll is the nearest to that, so we will see.

He said: "I've been planning that celebration for a long time. In Italy it means you've got the knife between your teeth.

"When you want to achieve something so badly that you are angry to reach your goals, you put the knife between your teeth.

"That's what I was trying to show by putting the side of my hand in my mouth.

  16. Hasn't he just been in France for a year? He's more likely to wave his hand about to signal a white flag..<whistle>
